Item came with a cut in the plastic so when I put liquid in it came right back out. Tried to do a return on Amazon and was told to contact company. Hand2mind was Amazon. I explained and they took my info and sent me another one. They were great with customer service. We got the new one and we love this thing. It keeps my 4yo busy for quite a while. It is made of a thick plastic, making it durable and the perfect size for home or on the go. Well worth the money and would definitely purchase again.

I saw a lot of reviews on here about how it wasn’t a good purchase. And how it was so messy. I didn’t really have any issue with it. It’s a good product. The individual I take care of though was not interested in it though so sometimes I just fidget around with it so it is still going to good use lol

I bought this to work on homeschooling a 4-year-old that I work with. It’s very educational and comes with quite a few inserts to use with the kiddos. The only issue is that the clean up is difficult in between uses, so while it says reusable, it is a tad difficult to clean for further uses. Overall, still a worthy purchase even if the clean up is a bit much!

The hand2mind Colors & Shapes Sensory Pad has been a great addition to my classroom! It’s perfect for one of my students who sometimes struggles to stay focused in large group settings. The textures and shapes keep his hands busy in a calm and quiet way, helping him stay engaged without becoming overwhelmed. It’s durable, colorful, and just the right size to bring anywhere. Definitely a great tool for supporting focus through sensory input!

My nephew has autism - he's about 6 years old. I am always looking for great toys to keep him active and engaged. He loves toys that have a great sensory aspect - especially touch. This is a safe and fun way for him to feel the textures of the items in the gel and get to refine motor skills. The play pad isn't huge, but that's actually nice because it's something he can focus on and it isn't too overwhelming. The gel material inside is soft and maleable, and there are a variety of shapes and items to push around. I am really optimistic that it will be right up his alley.

At first after opening it, I wasn't exactly sure what kind of media I wanted to put in it but decided to use clear aloe vera that we had in the cabinet to fill it with and our two-year-old son absolutely loves it. He pulls it out all the time it's one of his go toos.... not to mention it was fantastic in the car for a 6 Hour Rd. trip and even more convenient in portable to be able to have our hotel room and take a long wherever we went if we needed it

Very difficult to move the pieces around. There’s a lot of bubbles inside so it’s time consuming to try and release the bubbles without squeezing the water out. Very disappointed.

I bought a Save with used option, that described it was in very good condition, oy packaging was damaged. No problem. Sounds good for a 5 euro discount. However, the plug on the bag that holds the liquid is almost fully unglued. It's impossible to use the product like that. Is there any way to get a replacement for the bag via Learning Resources? It sounds like a waste of resources to return the product yet again for it to again go to another person or go in the trash when everything else is still usable. But also not really fair for me to pay nearly full price for a few plastic pieces and paper cards...
