Hydro Flask Wide Mouth Lids- Accessory for Wide Mouth Water Bottle

I was replacing my other straw cap because it started to leak air into the straw/mouthpiece and it was super annoying. I think it probably just got worn out from repeating flipping of the mouthpiece so it no longer provided a tight seal. With this being a plastic to rubber connection instead of plastic to plastic, maybe that won't happen. I'm not a big fan of the handle on this new model. I liked the little finger hole on the original one. It was easy to pick up with a finger and drink; now I have to grip the whole bottle. That's really the only con I have for it. Also on the original cap the finger tab was angled so there was no question as to which way to flip it. This one is straight up and it's not as easy to tell which way it flips, but it does have a small indention in one side, for your fingertip. These are just personal gripes about the new model, that's why I still give it 5 stars. I no longer have the leaky mouthpiece so that's all I wanted.

Great cap and fits perfect! I like the usefulness and looks of the straw lid over the basic threaded cap. It does leak at times if its tipped or upside down so be cautious. This is for my 64oz so it's usually not on its side or upside down luckily. It comes with 2 straws that need to be trimmed to length, which is nice to have a spare. I wish they included and straw cleaner, but that's easy enough to find. Good product, a bit on the expensive side for what it is, but works well!

I had recently purchased a hydro flask because my old ones got too banged up. It came with the average twist off lid and I wanted a lid that I could drink out of with having to take it off every time. I had seen these before and after reading reviews and descriptions I purchased it hoping it would fit my bottle. It fits my wide mouth hydro flask perfectly! It is very easy to pull the mouth piece up and push it back down. I also really like how it has the flex strap because I find it easier to hold. The straw is very sturdy and does not fall out even when there is ice in the bottle. It is also fairly easy to clean and re assemble. The only con about this kid is that it does leak a bit but only from the mouth piece. I have noticed a few times that it has gotten knocked over while the mouth piece is still up and my water ends up spilling. it doesn’t happen very frequently. I honestly kind of expected that to happy though because it is the part where the water is supposed to come out of.

These are so nice and great when hiking. No fumbling with opening, just pop the drinking piece and you are set. The straw is completely inside the bottle so you are drinking out of a mouthpiece. Genius. The straw is removable as well as the device which holds it in place. For anyone out there who has a family member who shakes for medical reasons this is the answer. I honestly was so thrilled when this came out from a company I sometimes buy my bottles from; such a good answer for my husband who shakes terribly, as well as myself when I hike. Easy easy to clean, fits great and no leakage when tipped unless the mouthpiece is open of course. Worth the money ten times over.

Wanted a hydro flask lid with straw AND wider handle that actually holds up and doesn’t leak. This was EXACTLY what I was looking for and so far does everything it claims to. After a week of use it’s proven to be durable, good quality and function. An earlier lid that I was using in this style came highly rated but leaked when on its side and had horrible suction. This one’s out performed that version by a mile. It’s surpassed my expectations. Hasn’t leaked at all on me and has great suction - with no “sucking noise” that the last lid seemed to have from the start. Special feature that I haven’t seen on other similar lids is how the straw mouth piece seems to snap more securely into its space on the lid. This feature gives me even more no-leak confidence and does a better job of protecting the straw from outside world debris. I work on a ranch where everything gets covered in dust and dirt and noticed that the mouth piece was better protected than the previous version. Even after a day on the mower, there was only dust on the top but not inside. Based on what I’ve seen so far it’s exactly what I wanted in a lid and will hopefully hold up with further use.

Pricey for a lid only but it fits, it works, and it has no leaks.

It works! Made well, connects easily, fits my 20 oz Hydro flask, the color matches, it's not slick. The straw flip opener is a little stiff at first but eases in time with use. The flow is preferred to others I've tried.My first replacement lid was purchased after a grandchild dropped my hydro flask on it's original lid and cracked it. I made the switch to a straw top with a silicone straw. That didn't last long because another grandchild bit through the straw, yup right through it. This lid replacement is preferred to all.

Perfect replacement to replace my 40oz Hydro Flask's broken cap. I dropped it on its head and the spout broke off.I expected the cap. I didn't expect the 2 straws. I didnt notice that it included straws.I wish i found this when I wanted to replace my straw. A no headache purchase.
