CABLEYOYO SLVR BLUELOUNGE [Accessory]

I have to agree with the review by G. Spickard: "This product will cut your wires!". I purchased a few of the Cableyoyos a while back, and I stopped using them for the simple reason that the edges of the product were sharp enough to nick the cables/wires.Quickly securing/unsecuring a cable in the Cableyoyo produced a number of nicks in my cables. Sure you could baby the raveling and unraveling of the cable in the Cableyoyo, but that adds extra time - something that you shouldn't have to do. If the EDGES of the product were smooth, there wouldn't be an issue.I uploaded a pic of a silver Cableyoyo that I dug out of my cable box, and while winding up the Microsoft Mouse, (I took extra care too) it nicked the cord to the point where I had a few little pieces of black shavings on the table!Now, about the price... There are other products that can "shorten" cables that are MUCH less expensive, and won't cut your wires!The only thing that the Cableyoyo has going for it, is the base that can be mounted/secured to something.Overall: sharp edges that can cut/damage your wires, high cost per unit, not recommended.

After reading the other two highly negative reviews I felt obligated to drop my two cents on this product. I've got about a dozen of them, and yes, the edge feels sharp, but I've never cut myself or any of my cables. I've been using them for around a year now on apple cords, usb cords, power cords, and anything else I can fit. The compact thin size works great in my travel kit and briefcase. I went so far as to rub a usb cable vigorously against the edge and yes, I got a little nick, but in the entire year I've had them, I have yet to do that accidentally to a single cable. I wouldn't give them to toddlers, but they work fine and I'll order more.

I decided to try this product as I have a lot of wires around my room... however almost immediately I noticed a fatal flaw in the design of this device. The Cableyoyo is made out of hard plastic with thin sharp edges, and most wires are made with soft rubber insulation. The wrapping design of this product made it very easy to wrap my wires around the central post in a neat orderly fashion, but the flaw became apparent when I removed the wire only to find that the section that came out of the middle that had been pressed up against the edge of the Cableyoyo had been cut so deep by the sharp plastic edge that the wire inside was exposed! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT UNLESS YOU WANT TO CUT ALL YOUR WIRES!! As you are probably aware, wire insulation is there for your safety, and exposed wires are dangerous... not only can this cause sparking which may start a fire, but you may accidentally electrocute yourself when the wire is plugged in. I do not understand why somebody would design a product made for wires that is so sharp on the edges that it will cut into your wires so much as to expose the metal within. In my eyes that is a pretty serious flaw and I will no longer be using this product as a result.

Cheap & nasty plastic that wears through the cable

Loro dicono che è della Bluelounge, in realtà non lo è, per giunta è di plastica dipinta di grigio, così sembra sia di alluminio.In più non è come quello in foto (quello in foto è l'originale)Purtroppo mi sono fatto fregare

Il materiale è plasticoso, il cavo va avvolto manualmente ma la cosa peggiore è che lo scotch non regge. Dopo soli sei mesi il supporto si è staccato dall' I Mac.

Dieser Kabelaufroller ist ausgefallen und sieht schick aus. Ich find ihn pfiffig und gut. Deher kann ich ihn nur empfehlen!

è molto grande e quindi ingombrante.sembrava fosse con riavvolgimento a molla, non lo è.per cui il prezzo è fin troppo alto.
