A Masterclass in Agility and Range! The V8S is the Ultimate Commuter Wheel.
"I cannot recommend the INMOTION V8S enough! This electric unicycle has absolutely revolutionized my daily commute and weekend fun rides. It manages to balance powerful performance with incredibly practical features, making it a dream machine for anyone looking to get around efficiently and stylishly. The first thing you notice is how nimble and easy it is to handle. At just 35 lbs, this 16-inch wheel is a dream to weave through city traffic or hop on and off public transport. The built-in retractable trolley handle is a lifesaver—it’s sturdy and makes rolling the wheel beside you effortless when you can't ride. Performance-wise, the 728Wh battery is a game-changer. I consistently get fantastic range, easily hitting over 30 miles on varied terrain. The 1000W motor provides smooth, reliable power and excellent hill climbing capability. You really feel in control with this wheel; the ride is intuitive and the build quality is superb. The matte finish even resists scratches well! Whether you're a beginner looking for your first reliable EUC or an experienced rider seeking a portable, long-range commuter, the V8S ticks every box. It's a fantastic, durable, and fun piece of engineering that I honestly can't imagine my life without now."

It’s worth it but there is a steep learning curve.
This is a good wheel to learn on and it is pretty damn capable after you become intermediate. Think of this like a single speed bike with no suspension. It can go anywhere a street bike can go but it has power to climb any paved hill easily. Comparatively the bigger wheels are like a mountain bike or dirt bike—even more capable off road but this works really well for pavement and even gravel trails.

A fun experience
First of all, I love my V8S. There is a learning curve. It is very difficult to learn how to ride. I’m just now getting it after almost 20 miles. I don’t go on long commutes yet. I do however, test the waters and I’m getting pretty maneuverable on it and I would recommend this to anyone who has the patience to learn it cause it’s not easy. Just know that I will be sticking with INMOTION products for all my future EUC purchases. The app is not as bad as I’ve heard I guess I use it quite a bit to keep track of my miles. I’m not getting my phone out to check the speed while I’m riding this thing, I’m not that comfortable yet, but I have no problems with the app either.

Amazing Customer Service!
Hi Everyone, I bought the InMotion V8S for my son to use at college. After a little under 6 months of riding, the wheel bricked. It wouldn't turn on or connect to the app, and I had no idea what was wrong. Unfortunately, when I checked my Amazon purchase to get a service number and to look at the warranty, I found out that the time to request service or to return the V8S had expired. I placed a review here on Amazon about the issue with my son's V8S and was contacted very quickly by InMotion. InMotion connected me with a service representative who asked for pictures and made suggestions on how I could try to fix the unicycle at home. When none of that worked, despite the V8S being outside of the service and return period, InMotion offered to either send a replacement part to me that they believed would cure the problem, or they would send a prepaid shipping label to me and exchange the V8S for a V8F, for free. Unfortunately, the V8S was out of stock so they couldn't replace the V8S with another V8S, but I was still incredibly impressed. I'm sure InMotion would have provided a V8S to me if the V8S had been in stock. My son chose the option of a replacement V8F. Every product line can experience a glitch or have an individual item malfunction. The purpose of this review is not to focus on the malfunction but to highlight the incredible customer service of InMotion and how they went out of their way to help my son get back onto a unicycle and be ready to ride. Thank you very much InMotion. I am extremely impressed with the quality and performance of your unicycles, and now even more so with your customer service and company as a whole. You have a loyal customer for life! A happy dad P.S. I have now gone out and purchased my own InMotion EUC - a V11. And, I love it!

Painfull and hard to learn
Cons: hard to get on. It really takes a lot of trying and crashing to get on and started. Unfortunately, the padding on the sides are VERY PAINFUL against my calves. And it HURTS!!!!!!!!! Pros: Once you get the hang of it, it can be fun. Summary: My recommendation, if you are new to EUCs, buy a used one first. EDIT: The company offered me a full refund for my troubles. But after months they have NOT refunded me. Don't waste your money with this brand.

This wheel is made for portability and convenient in mind (besides the bad parking bumper).
This is my 2nd wheel, meaning I have another wheel for other use and more powerful than the V8S. This wheel, the Inmotion V8S, the main use purpose is portability and convivence to go short distances, while walking into stores low key. If this is gonna be your 1st wheel. The learning curve will be hard, if you learn it by yourself that is, this wheel is just not made for beginners. But its slightly easier to get use to it, due to the lighter weight, compare to other wheels with better spec and heavier weight. _____ --Cons1-- This wheel is NOT a stable wheel when going at speed, because the tire width is narrow, but narrow tires are very easy to make turns. IF you want more stable at speed, you should looking into 3" wide tire, which will feel a lot more stable than the V8S 's 2.1" narrow tire. --Cons2-- The Top Speed is limiting at est 20mph, it will feel slow when you started to know how to ride. Since I already know how to ride, I always ride with speed alarms, and tilt backs due to going over the speed limit of this wheel, 30mph is consider a sweet spot for me personally, but a slow pace group ride does go around 20mph, so as long as the battery stays above a certain amount of battery level, going 20mph is no problem, or else max mph will drop lower. But for first timers, 20mph is consider very fast in their perspective. --Cons3-- This wheel, I assume its only my unit, the trolley handle for walking is really wobbly, like its not even sturdy, its just annoying. (shown in video). --Cons4-- The Lights are ok, useable, but in pitch darkness, I can only see like 3 feet ahead with this headlight, although the flood is wide and bright, the throw is weak. Also the "taillight", just a logo, that lights up, I don't consider this an actual taillight, instead a light up watermark. To solve this, I simply add external flashlight and taillight attachment on the end of the handles, or such, just to be more visible and see better in the night even with street lights. --Cons5-- Yes, there's more. The handle where the kill switch / cutoff/ temporarily disengage motor button, the top part of the plastic is a cut in the middle, may at rare cases, can cut or scratch my palm, due to this design cut finish. To solve this I will have to sand it out, or put a tape over it to avoid rare case minor injuries from it. --Cons6-- The parking part. To park this thing, with the built-in parking bumper on the shell, its simply too small. I mean its possible, as long as its on complete flat and even surface, it can stay parked, and not fall over. IF on carpets, uneven surfaces, windy condition, or such, I've had it randomly just fall over on me. So the solution is to park this is by leaning against something heavier than the EUC, or just use the walking trolley to extend the lean for it to stay put. --Cons7-- The foot pedal... well its not really a con, but under normal use, it requires my hands to flap it down. I'm a bit lazy, so I added a better ankle padding, to get enough space for it not close all the way, and I was able to use my shoe to just dig that open gap to set the pedal down in place. I just prefer not bending over all the time to just start riding. ________ --Pros1-- Its portable. Weighing at around 35lbs (tested with luggage weight measuring tool), is easy enough to just pick it up one handed, over long set of stairs, carry in out of places, or temporally picking it up off ground. Weight is slightly lighter than 5 gallon of water fyi. --Pros2-- Its thin enough to fit behind the 2nd role car leg space. Manageable to carry in and out of small car with 2 hands together. --Pros3-- Its convenient. The kill switch button is in a good place, very easy to locate, just lift the handle, and the fingers will already be triggering it. The extendable trolley for walking is also located in a convenient place, just press it with my thumb (right hand). It walks like you would like a suit case side ways. Also the power/headlight button, is all in one, and all right next to lift handle. Simply said, its all accessible with only one hand. Which is all this is the main reason I bought this EUC. ______

I returned it but this thing was awesome
So here's something that everybody needs to know when you're getting into this they're awesome they're fun they're way cooler than anything else out on the market right now that runs on one wheel way easier to handle off-road way better top end all of it but the reason I return mine is I was having ghosting issues where the unit would just periodically take off and go and I'm not sure if that's just from my unit or if it's across all of them once that's figured out I plan on buying another one
