Travelon Women's Anti-Theft Heritage Small Crossbody Cross Body Bag

I love this bag not too roomy but enough for essentials

Just used this on a trip to London, England recently. It hangs nicely and carried all my important items while traveling. Passport, money, keys, receipts while under my coat and it was not bulky.

I love this bag! Great size - small but holds everything needed. The exterior is attractive, & has features to make it more secure. The clasps could be a little better, but I don't know that will be a problem. I did receive the wrong bag at first. Ordered pewter & looked like the sage one. I looked on the tag, & it said pewter. Wasn't what I wanted, but probably would have made do. But, the lock tab was set too far in purse, not like the photos, & I couldn't fasten it, so I asked for an exchange. The new bag arrived immediately - and it was the pewter color I expected!!! And had a good clasp. I'm just glad it had to been sent back or I wouldn't know. Compare to the photos & know it could be mismarked! But I'd gladly buy again, & am loving the bag now that I have what I expected!

This is one of 2 Travelon bags I purchased recently. This one is quite a bit more stylish than the other one. The canvas looks and feels high quality, and in general, it is a nice looking bag and a nice size. There is room for your essentials but you're not carrying around the kitchen sink weighing a ton while you sightsee all day. It's a nice, cute on-the-go bag.I'm not really certain about the security of it, though. Only the top zipper has the locking feature where you can clasp the zipper to a stationary loop to keep it shut. The compartment on the front of the bag zips but does not lock, so you wouldn't want to keep anything valuable there, maybe just chapstick and the like. The slip pocket on the back of the bag has no closure whatsoever, which is nice if you are going to be reaching in frequently to grab your cell phone or something, but as far as security goes, it's nil. Then, the one locking zipper on top (which goes into the main compartment of the bag) seems way less functional than the one on my other Travelon bag. On the other bag, the loop is in a fairly accessible place, but on this one, it is tucked down in the crack of the fabric and you really have to work at it to clasp and unclasp the zipper. This means you need to plan ahead if you want to get inside the bag for anything. Don't get up to the cash register and think you are just going to reach in and pull out your money, it's going to take you a good minute of fiddling with the zipper first. I can already see that what's going to happen is I'm never going to clasp the zipper shut because it's a pain in the ass, which means the locking feature is moot.The other anti-theft features seem decent, though. As I mentioned, the canvas is good quality and I can believe it's fairly slash resistant. The strap is made of the same material and is a nice thick strap, so it definitely would not be easily cut or broken.There is nothing really noteworthy about the inside of the bag. It does not have credit card slots like some of the other Travelon bags do, so you will still need a wallet. There are a couple of slip pockets and a zipper pocket (no lock). As I mentioned, it's a decent size. You can fit a wallet, keys, ssunglasses, and probably a few other odds and ends. I'm thinking a phone charger and battery pack probably.On the cell phone subject, I have a large Samsung Galaxy phone and it does fit in the front zipper pocket and in the back slip pocket. This is always a concern for me when buying a new bag, so hopefully that's helpful to someone else.All in all, I think this is 4 stars at 1st assessment. It's a nice bag and definitely sturdy for travel, I just wouldn't necessarily choose it for going somewhere you are super concerned about pickpockets.

I purchased this purse 6 months ago and have been using it and loving it every day since. It's the perfect size and shape for everything from a casual walk on the beach to a more trendy dinner out. I removed the Travelon logo to leave just a nice neutral brown leather piece on the front of the bag (although you could easily remove that as well if you prefer).The exterior zip pocket is just right for keeping quick access items like bus tickets and coins. I use the exterior non-zipped pocket to hold a couple face masks so they are easy to get to when we walk inside a building where masks are required.The interior RFID blocking pocket holds my slim wallet with ID, cards, and bills as well as a USB and a couple emergency tampons/liners. Two non-zip interior pockets are sized for small hand sanitizers, lotion, chaptstick, gum, nail clippers, mini pen, flashlight, and a pill pack.The interior body of the purse has plenty of room for my cell phone, keys, electrolyte powder, tissues, and eye drops.After 6 months of non-stop use, this fantastic purse shows no signs of wear and all of the zippers and other hardware are still working perfectly. The criss-cross anti-slash materials inside the fabric are visible as light grey lines, but as my husband says, it looks like it could just be part of the design.I would 100% recommend this purse to anyone looking for a non-bulky everyday bag with enough room for what you need and not too much room that you take extra things you really don't need. Looking forward to getting many more years of use out of this fantastic bag!

I have carried this as my everyday purse for over a year now. I purchased it for a trip but when I returned home I realized this was perfect not just for travel. It has just the right amount of pockets for what I carry around: 2 cellphones, reading glasses, credit card/ID holder, lip balms, cash and change and can tuck a face mask in the outside pocket. I even added my passport holder for a recent trip overseas. Small enough to sit beside me in the car, under the seat on the airplane and will tuck into my day pack if I am going someplace where I need more "gear". As a cross body bag, it stays close while leaving my hands free. The security features are nice as it has the cable in the strap and body and a clip to keep the main zipper compartment closed. The canvas makes it have a nice fabric feel rather than too plastic. I will probably order another before they quit making it! to have when this wears out, which might be a loooong time.
