All Flavor Gourmet Saltwater Taffy (Root Beer, 2 Pound)

Lots of different flavors hopefully I'll come across some of the classic flavors as well because this is the only taffy of any kind I've ever had that's actually this soft because I have always been a huge fan of taffy but I always hate how hard it is on your teeth So with most other brands I usually just mess around with it like putty to get it soft but this one comes soft already so this is exactly what I've been looking for for the last 30 years So I'll be back. Because I'm sure I won't only have five teeth left by the time I finish this bag

So glad I didn't listen to the negative reviews; there's nothing bad I can say about this taffy. Yes, the pieces are smaller but they're fresh, soft, don't stick to the paper, have great flavor and there's plenty of assorted flavors. Excellent price and definitely worth the money. I ordered 2 lbs. so I'll have to hide them so I don't eat them too quickly! I would definitely order these again...yum!

I love saltwater taffy, and I'm not any sort of taffy connoisseur, so I'm very easily satisfied with a basic saltwater taffy. These are definitely not saltwater taffy. I don't even know how to describe the texture of what these are as you can see even opening them as the product was squishy and almost looked melted even though they were not melted whatsoever. In addition, when you chew it it doesn't have a taffy or even taste, it's like thick baby food. Totally nasty and again basic grocery store saltwater taffy would be a 10 compared to this. Obviously it's nonrefundable through Amazon, so I have tried unsuccessfully to contact the seller with my concerns with absolutely no success. I normally suss out products by reading the reviews, but unfortunately the good reviews outweigh the bad reviews on this one, and I 100% disagree that the positive reviews correctly represent this product. Sidenote, I even tried putting them in the refrigerator seeing if they would harden but then they just became hard as rocks and the second you could chew into them, that nasty thick baby food was there again 🤢🤮 literally, even just writing this review makes me nauseous as I can't get the feel and memory of the nasty texture out of my senses.

I love salt water taffy. This taffy looks delicious. It isn't necessarily bad taffy, the flavors are not very distinct.I had one piece that looked like maybe leftover bits all put in 1 piece. It tasted pretty yuck. The others aren't yucky but it is difficult to tell what the flavors are. Most taffy has a pretty distinct flavor profile. These seem either very subdued or just muddled.I will try a different brand next time.

It's good taffy in that it's fresh and doesn't stick to the wrapper when opening. It's very easy to chew. I was however disappointed that it DID NOT taste as advertised (Cotton Candy) 2lb. Bag. Which was the only reason I purchased this product. Perhaps I just got unlucky, and other batches would be fine. I've loved saltwater taffy since I was a kid and been to many places where it's made. I've had Cotton Candy taffy numerous times. So, I feel quite qualified in what I've written. Thanks.

These taffy are soft and fresh, sweet flavors.

Before ordering I checked out the reviews, and I was skeptical. I really didn't want to receive poor tasting balls of gooey taffy but, since I really wanted the taffy, I figured I'd give them a try (worse case is about $20 wasted). I AM SO GLAD I GAVE THESE A CHANCE! I ordered 2lbs all Chocolate. They arrived in 4 days, no goo balls, not sticking to the wrappers, and tasting very fresh! Yes, they are smaller than the taffy candies I remember getting years ago but, it is 2024! I like a very strong chocolate flavor - I would say these are medium but I'm happy because it's a good chocolate/taffy mix. These are not overly expensive at today's standards, and are, of course, not top of the line 'Gourmet' but, for the $$ & the flavor, I think they are perfect! The last time I purchased taffy I bought it at a Candy Store (supposed to be made on the premises) and it was AWFUL - these are much better! I will certainly order these again.

Some of the taffy in the top of the bag had “leaked” out of the wrapper and caused 5-6 pieces to get stuck together. I realize it can be tricky to ship candy during hot weather. The taffy was very soft and no particular smell. reason I rated the product 2 stars was the flavor or lack thereof. It was very difficult to determine what each flavor was supposed to be. I ordered the assorted flavors and If there was any cherry, banana, raspberry, chocolate or peppermint…I could not distinguish itat all. Most were just sweet and a few sour…disappointing!
