This was perfect and inexpensive. Perfect fit and quality. I took it to the geek squad in Best Buy and the manager did it no problem. And even tested it out before I left the store the whole installing process took 25 minutes . The battery has been better and stronger since the change . No more black outs or error messages or drained battery while off the charger.

The battery fit and works great. The hard part was the install on my particular HP. In a video, they show the bottom come off and the battery mount from the underside. With my computer, the battery mounts from the top and you have to lift the keyboard, bending it a bit. I have a flexible screw driver that fit under barely so I was able to replace the battery.

Unfortunately the battery didn’t fit. Returned and refund issued.

This battery is wonderful. My laptop had to be used with the cord all the time because the OEM battery had gone bad. I did not realize until I opened up the computer how bad and swollen the battery was. This did not come with instructions so a quick Google search and within ten minutes I had the battery in. The battery came with half a charge so I charged it overnight. I turned the computer on and left it on with the screen saver running. Four hours later it was at 37%. That was a welcome improvement over the two minutes and dead from the original battery. The computer was not under load so I am sure if I am using it, it will drain faster but this was a perfect fit and fixed my problem.
