Spider FarmerSmartG12 Hydroponics Growing System, 12 Pods Indoor Garden with 36W LED Grow Light Full-Spectrum, APP & WiFi Controlled, 6L Water Tank, Pump System, Automatic Timer

I purchased two of these systems around New Year. First I had tried a much more expensive system that had the electronics integrated into the container wall and was able to refill itself. But the light must have been defective because everything sprouted and then nothing. It just sat there and din't grow any further.I got one of the Spider Farmers, used the water with the nutrient solution of the earlier system and rescued some of the plants (which started to grow just fine right away). As soon as I saw how great this system is, I got a second one. One is growing lettuce, the other has herbs. I've already harvested lots of basil, dill, chives and lettuce. I'm even using the lettuce and herbs for juicing because they grow faster than I can eat them. Awesome!What I like is that the container sits on top of the electronics (not integrated). So I can take the container off and wash it without having to watch out for any display/electronics.I did not use the food that came with it. I got some Spiderfarmer food plus a couple of products from Microlife Hydroponics. My plants grow like crazy so I think they like it.I saw one review giving it one star because the person couldn't set the time. I am a bit baffled by that because I had no trouble. You have to go into the settings. If you select herbs, it gives you 12 hours, if you select fruiting plants, it gives you 16 hours. And then it lets you set the starting time to 6 am if you want. I don't use the Wifi either because I can set everything in the system settings. I even had a power outage and all I had to do was set the clock again. It remembered all my other settings. Just check the settings if you have trouble. It's all there.

Highly recommend! I love my Spider Farmer, it is so user friendly if you are just starting to grow or if you have been doing it for many moons you will fall in love with it at as and bring such joy and happiness. 🙂

The light for this product doesn't work. I reached out to get it resolved and haven't heard back. Also, the pump is louder than my other systems.Update: If you have issues, it's best to go through Amazon vs emailing through your warranty. I was able to get a new system and returned the old one.

Excellent love it with app monitoring

Bought December 9th 2023, started using march 2024, failed December 30th 2024. The light timer no longer functions and just stays on forever. They also have upgraded the model but left all the old reviews from the previous. It did not come with enough covers, did not have a manageable light schedule like they advertise now which broke anyway. The cover did not fit properly and the unit was merely a pump that ran all the time with a t fitting on top. They seemed to have sold an incomplete design that needed work. Their lights however seem well made.

easier to use than I thought!

Arrive d perfect and I followed instructions perfect I know what she's required like and what don't require like to germinate and I grew micro Tom tomatoes all four of them Germany perfect and my only problem is I cannot get the lights to function at the times I have set them to on the app and on the device itself. This is a big problem they only function if I manually turn them on and off. I've waiting for the regular 6 to 10 a.m. p.m. and they will not function I have checked over and over what to do. I will return this and by one that is not Wi-Fi and has a simple automatic 6am to 10pm 16 hour setting. I'm trying the brand ahope replacement for the spider farmer.

The unit is a nice size and I have grown a few things in there. But not long after I got it the pump starting get noisy. I cleaned it thoroughly and no matter what, it was loud. I have 7 other units, mostly Idoo, a GardenCube, and an Ahopegarden - all of those pumps are extremely quiet.The spider farmer is my least favorite as of now. You cannot replace the pump because you cannot disconnect it from the unit; it is glued into the unit.The large capacity and that it sits on top of the power base are the only things it has going for it.I purchased this in October but did not get to use it until January, because I had bought 2, one for my daughter for Christmas, so, I couldn't use mine until after Christmas either for that reason. So it was "ok" for 8 months.Now the red power light keeps flashing on the unit because the pump won't come on. I hope that the unit will still turn the lights on and off with the power light flashing like that, or the whole thing is junk. I will have to order a USB pump for it and waste another plugin spot.I want to like it, but it has been annoying with the pump being loud and now it quit working, I'm not going to take it apart and clean it again(!), I'm done with that pump. Off to order a USB one and hope the lights and timing still work on the Spider Farmer.Fingers crossed the time and lights will still work, because my baby Kale and Amaranth are looking good...
