AmeriCan Goods Silver Nitrate Wooden Caustic Sticks Applicator 10/PS

I went to the dentist with a tongue full of sores. He asked me how I could stand it. I told him every hour or so I was swishing with Listerine (ouch), but it would take the sting out for awhile. He said, if I could take that I should try SIlver Nitrate. I immediately came home and ordered it. Not going to lie, it stings, and it makes your sores look silver/gray, but it is worth all the pain because the sores heal much faster than no treatment at all. One stick can treat multiple sores at a time, so while it seems a lot for ten it is really only one for an entire treatment. You will not be disappointed if you suffer from sores like I do...

These are super helpful if you get mouth ulcers. Be very careful if you wet the tip because it will stain anything it touches/drips on (my sink)

Only reason this didn't receive 5 stars is because there were no instructions. I google a video to see how to use. These work great on my canker sores. It hurts at the start but does numb the canker sore and aid in healing. After you use the sticks you will want to rinse your mouth out with water several times. The sore turns black for a little bit, then turns white. Be careful, watch videos and read how to use them before you use them.

Great product; very happy with it

Product is great for canker sores! I get them frequently and these burn them right off! It does hurt for the first 10 seconds but its worth it in the end.

I had to order these for a wound I’m currently dealing with since I wasn’t able to see my doctor soon enough for a refill prescription. They worked well for what I needed them for. However I did read that these sticks need to be stored in a cool and dark rooms. In order to ensure that they are effective when using them. These come in a clear tube which I would suggest changing to a UV proof tube or at least a tube that’s not transparent. I also would hope Amazon stores the in a temperature controlled environment since I personally used to work for them in a warehouse. I’ve seen many products that should be stored in a cool environment in an environment that is warm/hot.

Easy to use at home

Having used this item before I am totally pleased with it. Will be reordering more that's for sure.

Life savers, to have in your first aid kit! I have them in case I cut one of my dog's nail too short (and I wish I don't use them).

Most of the sticks are partially broken. Doesn’t really help with canker sores. Wouldn’t buy again.

I use these on my horse who sustained a large injury to a proud flesh prone area. They work great to target an area to slough off the proud flesh.

These can't be found locally, but if you ever get canker sores, these are what you need.
