This travel doorstop is small and relatively lightweight, and it comes in a little bag so it’s easy to place anywhere in your luggage. What surprised me was how easy it is to set it up and how strong this little doorstop is. As a female who travels alone, this will give me a feeling of more security while in my hotel/Airbnb room. I tried several other travel, doorstops and this was the only one that was easy to use and held well.

Debated on which type of travel security lock to buy, but finally ended up with this item. I couldn’t have been more satisfied! It’s a nice weight and size, and I liked the included drawstring bag which made it easy to pack in my luggage. It is reasonably priced, and worked great for 4 overnight stays (with both carpet and hard floors), including one motel door. Although I didn’t actually test the unit by having someone push the outside of the door, I wasn’t able to open any of them once it was screwed down tightly to the floor. This lock seems to be well made, and I would anticipate it will be useful for many trips in the future.

I love the idea of this & the fact that it’s small, lightweight, comes in a sturdy bag to store or travel with but it just didn’t work under my front door of my house. I tried to put it under the corner of the door close to the wall & couldn’t get it under the door so I moved it towards the middle. Once I got it under my door & easily started to tighten it I could feel the grip getting strong. I started to pull on the part that locks the device to the ground & was like “WOW! This has a strong grip & seems to work well” & then it slipped out from under my front door…..sigh! This is a great product & made sturdy but I have to say it’s not for all doors. It probably works better with doors that their bottom doesn’t completely touch the ground or have a rubber flap on the bottom as it makes it hard to get the flat piece under the door. Since this doesn’t work for the door I bought it for I have to return it. Boo.

This was definitely a great buy! Was stay in a hotel by myself and wanted the extra security. I was able to make adjustments to fit it under the door. It was a pain every time I had to remove it to open the door but the added security was worth the small inconvenience. I like that it's easy to carry and is allowed on planes. I would definitely recommend this product!

This works really well! I was so relieved to finally find something. I have a weird door at work that doesn't lock and is kind of crooked; I tried two different wedges underneath, but people could still easily push open the door from outside and barge in. This is super effective, and relatively quick and easy to put in place or take away. It's also small and easy to store! Definitely recommend.

This was an excellent piece of equipment to have on my mom vacation! I recently traveled with a friend and our two toddlers—no husbands—and having this made me feel so much safer in our hotel room. It was very simple to install, and I love that it’s all one piece. It’s very durable, made of metal, and fits any door. Definitely a must-have for peace of mind while traveling with little ones.
