It blocks some RF
I'm undecided about whether I am personally affected that much by EMF polution and by how much. These products are expensive. I wore the hat for a while in the office at work where there are many screens and humming computers, then didn't for a while. I can't honestly say whether the beanie made any difference. I did do a test with a meter. As you can see in the photos before and after, with the meter at a distance of one meter from a household wifi hub the pulsing RF signal fluctuated between 150 and 400 mW/m. After covering the hub with the beanie the signal went down to between 8 and 10 mW/m. So it does block something, although it doesn't stop you using wifi.

Using a meter, it does not reduce background RF radiation of 60-110 pW/cm2 ('Normal' ambient) within a room. At a window, the beanie DOES reduce 'ambient Normal' RF of 100-600 pW/cm2 (picoWatts per square centimetre) to inside-room levels. So, not a total barrier to low-ambient radio frequencies indoors but it certainly reduces outdoor-ambient levels.I don't use wi-fi or smart meters but we all live in a frequency-smog: a soup of radio, TV, direct-satellite broadcasting, cellphones, neighbours' wi-fi, radar, 4G, 5G ... it never ends. In China, it is the law for pregnant ladies to wear an apron of this type of frequency-blocking material to protect their child.

Useless
Being electrosensitive I wanted to try this hat as life is becoming harder and harder for people like me. I tried it at home first. One evening, I was wearing it while tidying up the cupboard under the television which was on. After a short while, I was suddenly stricken with a severe headache and had to remove the hat. It told me that the hat is not doing what it is supposed to do at all and that instead of blocking electromagnetic frequencies, it absorbs them. Total waste of money.

Definitely helps if a little too big
Yes it does cut down exposures and definitely worth having. However even for my big head it is slightly too big and keeps slipping down, unless I fold it up.
