Good Product So Far ...
Apr 24, 2025. Installed CN101A with 24 VAC supply and 24 VAC switched to control well pump start relay. Item is well made and arrived charged. Programming is super easy. In fact it is way easier to program than any Rainbird or similar zone controller. The combinations of start/stop cycles is impressive. Buttons are excellent. LCD display contrast is high and numerals are sharp. Mounting holes are #6. You could use double sided tape to mount since unit is small and light. If it lasts one irrigation season it will be money well spent. Unit mounted indoors. DO NOT USE THIS UNIT TO SWITCH DC POWER.

Failed Relay out of the box
Installed. Programmed. Tested...... didn't work. Used ohm meter and verified switch at terminals did not close when manually triggered with button. Circuit board looks good. I'm condemning the relay. The 1 page instructions have too much unnecessary information that may apply to other timers as well. Will be buying a different manufacturer timer.

Works fine
Some of the flags on the display need a magnifier. It is easy to program and so far does a fine job of controlling a pool pump. It replaces a mechanical timer that wore out.

Dead on arrival
I bought two of these timers previously and am using them to control solar powered lights and water fountain pumps for a small pond. Both of those have been working well for about 4 months. Decided to buy one more for an additional pump. As received the Hour and Minute adjustment buttons will not work on this third unit. Sending it back and trying again. The return process was easy and free.

Good, but programming could be easier
This is being used to lock out the temp controller on my boiler domestic hot water tank at night. It's powered from the Taco 24 vac power transformer without problem, and has saved me a lot of heating oil over the last few years. This is the second unit installed after the first one locked up and had to be replaced after 3 years. It works well, but programming it is a pain. There are a couple of versions of the instructions on the net, and they don't match. Once you get it set up though it's been good.
