UPDATE: after only 3 weeks, it stopped getting hot completely. Returned it. So sad, because this was the best one I've had.Love this wood burner. This is the third model I've tried and this one is the best for my small hands. The tips are close to where you hold the handle making it easier to contol. Handle does not get hot like a different model I had. All in all, very happy with this burner.

The initial item came in defective, which was a huge disappointment. It worked for the first 10 seconds, then shot out sparks and shorted itself out. I turned it off and then when I turned it on again, same thing- worked wonderful for about 10 seconds then shorted out. I was very disappointed because I have wanted one of these for so long, and this was actually in my price range. So I contacted the shop, and they are going to resolve the issue with me, so I am highly satisfied.Not everything works the way it should. As a customer, I can understand that. I am giving 5 stars because the business fixed my issue with courtesy, understanding and punctuality. And I can't complain about a faulty pen if they fix my issue. That would be pointless. All I want is a pyrography pen.When it did work, oooh, it was an absolute dream! I eagerly await my pen in the mail!

I wish the machine & turning knob was written in English, had to go on YouTube for instructions how to use this.. I got it.. the wire tools are so fragile it should of came with extra ones..

This has been a fantastic tool! I was getting frustrated with my old one because of the low heat and limited tips but the variety in this kit on both fronts rocks!

Fast delivery and well packaged!!! Compared with other similar product, this one is very reasonable price. The product works very well and was happy with the amount of nibs. I have tried the kit out and works very well, gets hot very quickly provided.

Awesome product!!!This pyrography burner works well,the pen heats up very quickly,perfect for wood and leather.The kits including some pyrography nibs,varius shapes and sizes.it's great,i do not need to purchase additional again.Though the CD is in chinese,but not affect using.

Everything is written in Chinese so you cant read the dial. The instructions are so poorly written it looks like a 4th grader wrote them and the English translation is just awful. Unit works OK but I would not buy again
