this thing is fantastic and worked perfectly for my needs
I can't speak to how accurate this is, but I got this as an inexpensive way to test the general IR absorption qualities of different materials. I just got it and tested it out on a basic TV Remote. It picked up the IR and as I moved the remote further away, the IR levels dropped. For the price, this thing is fantastic and worked perfectly for my needs!
