My girlfriend and I both bought one of these for a recent trip to Ecuador.They pack really small, but they're surprisingly strong and comfortable to wear, just big enough to put a jumper, packed lunch, sunglasses, etc.They are water resistant, good enough for a light shower - but definitely not waterproof and will get wet in a heavy downpour. We had ponchos, so wasn't an issue really.

For the price, it's a great purchase. Very practical, super light, relatively easy to put back into it's pouch. Water resistant. I used it while skiing and it's very handy. Straps are sufficiently wide, but a little difficult to put on if wearing a jacket.

I bought this as a standby rucksack for my son who travels a lot. He;s been using it for a couple of months now and it has been great. It seems to be of excellent quality, given the modest price, and for him it folds down really small to fit in his main rucksack when travelling.

Small 16 ltr size was just what I needed for carrying small items on bike rides. It's lightweight and the shoulder straps can be extended so it works like larger packpacks. Disappointed that it's not waterproof, or even water resistant as stated in the listing. I held it under a shower to test it with water falling on the fabric (not the zips) and after less than 30 seconds there was water inside the bag. This was through the fabric or through the seems, not sure which. I can only use this in dry weather to carry my phone and wallet and it's perfect for that, but when there's chance of rain or puddles out on the trails I'll be leaving this at home.
