Hmmm… idk what to think about this product but it’s sorcery! I love a good moisturizing lotion and I love my butters with petroleum and thickness. This is the complete opposite of that. I absolutely love the oil, so I was excited to try the lotion. Even after reading the reviews, I wasn’t expecting the lotion to be this watery. But, wow, I applied just a little bit on my hands and it perfectly moisturized my hands with no residue or left behind excess product. This stuff is amazing! There’s no scent, fragrance or dyes. Seems to do just what it says. I made sure I shook it up before application. My only gripe is that it’s pricey for such a small bottle. I’m really not sure how much to use. I used a small amount on my hands, but I feel that I would automatically use too much on my body…that’s if I were to even use this on my entire body. I don’t have allergies or skin sensitivity so this wouldn’t be my go to lotion at such a steep price and small bottle. I wouldn’t use it on my newborn for sure and I am gate keeping this product from my son and fiancé because I know they would use entirely too much of it. Maybe I’d use it on my feet so that they wouldn’t be slippery in heels and still be moisturized. Overall, it’s a great product. I would recommend it for those that have sensitive skin; however there are other products and brands that offer the same benefits that do have more thickness to them. I’m glad I have this product on hand, but I’m not sure how much I’ll actually use it. I use the Bio Oil pretty consistently and will probably just use to pair with that. I gave it 5 stars for its functionality, absorbency, and actually working very well. I am impressed with this lotion.

this oil moisturizer feels nice on skin and quickly is soaked by my skin after a few minutes of application. Super dry skin feels rehydrated after several applications while cracking areas may need more applications to turn completely soft again lasting a long time. It is worth trying and not greasy like what people think.

Living in Alaska, it has been windy and below zero for weeks and this is the only thing that stops the constant dry skin and itching for both me and my husband. It’s not at all greasy and very light. So light, in fact that it is surprising when it comes out of the bottle more liquidy than most lotions. It has a consistency more similar to milk than butter, if that makes sense. Does not cause breakouts, and has almost no scent, which is great for sensitive skin. Will definitely reorder.

This product is liquid, more like a water texture than a thicker lotion. It works very well though, even with the high oil content it absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave your skin greasy. Good for winter, limits dryness. However, it would have benefited from being a pump bottle. I transferred it to an opaque pump bottle and it is so much more convenient that way.

I was not at all expecting this lotion to be watery liquid. But I rubbed a little onto my skin and it worked wonderfully. My skin feels so soft and not greasy at all. Love it! I wish it was available in stores and in a larger size!

I simply love this lotion. It is easy to apply, absorbs quickly into your skin, and truly moisturizes your skin giving you a healthy glow. I suffer from terribly dry skin in the winter, and this stuff just does the trick. I’m a tired mom of 2, 2 and under…. I’m exhausted by the time I’m able to shower when the little ones are asleep. So if a lotion requires a cardio workout, I’m gonna skip it every time. Try this lotion, I think you’ll love it just as I do!

Be aware this is not a lotion consistency. It is purely a runny oil. I have no doubt that this oil works great to moisturize dry skin. However, it should not be advertised as a "Lotion". It is very runny and messy and not what I was looking for in a body lotion so I returned it.

If, like me, you're in such a rush to try this body lotion that you overlook the use instructions, be aware that it needs to be well shaken before use. I only recently received my order, and was apparently too eager to use it. Even though I neglected to shake it before the first application, it still absorbed fairly quickly, but left a slight oily sheen and residue. The next time I used it I shook it well, and the difference was amazing. It absorbed almost instantly (no aerobics required to massage it in), and with no oiliness at all. My mother, who's 70, has tried it as well, and she says it makes her skin look and feel amazing. I'd been looking for a body lotion that was more like a serum, but would provide good moisture and hydration, and this lotion is exactly what I was hoping for but never expected to find. It doesn't leave a sticky/oily film, and doesn't transfer to clothing. As others have commented, it's a very thin, serum-like liquid, but moisturizes and hydrates quickly and very effectively. I'll have to wait until winter weather arrives to see how well it deals with skin that gets a bit drier due to indoor heating, but so far, after applying this lotion on a warm, early-fall day, my skin looks and feels smooth, supple and well moisturized. I was hoping the lotion would have the same lovely fragrance as the plain Bio-Oil, but there's no discernible scent, which many users may prefer. BUT! As other commenters have mentioned, because this product is more liquid-like than lotion, it comes out of the bottle quickly, even though the hole in the top is very small. My mother and I both love the lotion so far, but the bottle is screaming out for a pump dispenser. I hope that those responsible for packaging decisions at Bio-Oil will read user reviews of this otherwise great product, and provide a pump going forward. I'm going to see if a pump from other products I have will fit this bottle. So: great lightweight but effective moisturizing/hydrating formula, but desperately needs a better, less messy and wasteful means of dispensing.

The item is amazing, but it was delivered without being kept in a cold place, and it arrived very hot. I’m not sure if it’s still in good condition.

Lightweight, unscented, non-oily and super hydrating. My skin loves this! Far superior to "drug store" moisturizers/lotions/body oils. Worth every penny - my ultra-thirsty skin was immediately quenched and stayed that way, without feeling greasy, all day.

Attention ce n'est pas une crème, texture d'huile très liquide MAIS ce produit est magique!

Personally the original Bio Oil worked much better to reduce stretch marks and fine lines but this lotion version leaves my body silky smooth. I tried putting it on my face because someone said it would help with acne scars but it made my face greasy so I wouldn't recommend doing that. Great for if you need a sheer everyday moisturizer!
