Great medicine

I ordered this because Dr. Oz said it would help with aging, and decreasing that. Lol When I ordered it, I suspected it might mean more to me than others. I had serious digestive problems for 2+ years. Then I had a serious surgery to put things right. The healing process has been challenging. I'm doing well, but it is a process. I take this Jarrow 500mg L carnosine with Solaray's Cal/Mag/Zinc. It's like a super mega dose of PepZinGI which is good if you're close to normal. I was not close to normal when I got my carnosine. But, I am close to normal now. :) I took the 500mg of carnosine with the cal/mag/zinc 30 minutes before each meal for 5 or 6 weeks. The L carnosine made a huge difference in my body learning how to digest food again. Very exciting! Now I'm taking the combination once a day in the morning. I am taking the PepZinGI before lunch and dinner when I remember. I will continue with the L carnosine and cal/mag/zinc for at least a year to help my body heal. Knowing myself, I'd guess I'll take it forever.

I started taking this supplement because it was mentioned on the Dr. Oz show for anti-aging. I did not order it for my digestive problems (diagnosed as IBS). I didn't even know it was supposed to help digestion. It has been a wonderful surprise to find out that this supplement almost completely alleviates the unpleasant digestive symptoms I've been experiencing for so long. I could not be happier!! I highly recommend this product!! I can't really comment on the anti-aging factor since I'm taking and using so many anti-aging aids all at once. It's probably helping. I have seen really nice improvements in my skin, but like I said, I started lots of different regimens around the same time: supplements, retin-a, vitamin c serum, to name a few.
