Merrell mens MOAB 2 WTPF Hiking Shoe, Beluga, 10.5 US

Used the shoe for 3 weeks of hiking in New Zealand and they performed perfectly. Held up in various terrains, including shallow rivers. No foot blisters or discomfort while breaking in the shoe, although I would always suggest wearing them for a few days before your first hike. My wife had the same experience with her Merrell hiking shoes. For the price, you can't go wrong.

These shoes are very sturdy but comfortable. I have worn Merrills for many years and they are durable for hiking and just wearing anytime.

Having feet with a longest middle toe, shoe fit is hit and miss. In this case the toe box is a bit cramped. After wearing the shoes all day, I wind up with painful toes. Yuck. This is particularly troublesome when hiking sloped terrain. Uphill walks are fine. But what goes up must come down. My toes jam with each step. There is no issue with the quality of the shoe. I simply have hard to fit feet.

My boyfriend drives a truck and is in and out of it all day with deliveries - often in the rain since Florida has some, somewhere, every day! They are lightweight, yet super durable and dry quickly. We are on his second pair and are the only shoes he wants for work anymore. Before getting these we had purchased a very expensive pair from a store dedicated to work shoes, and those were uncomfortable and wore out in a couple of months. The first pair lasted him almost a year, which is absolutely a testament to the high quality.

I've only taken a few brief walks with these so far, but the fit is comfortable. I've had an identical pair for several years. which have served me well. After extended use, the soles are now worn and the waterproofing has failed, so I need this new pair. I hope they'll perform as well as the old pair.

I bought these for work (landscaping)and they are great. I’m hard on shoes and on my feet all day. They keep my feet dry the first few hours at work and most shoes don’t last an hour. Be better if it was a goretex lining but still a quality, durable shoe.

This is my second pair of Moab 2's. I wear them when golfing. The morning dew soaks through the shoes immediately. When I finish 9 holes, I can wring out my socks. The current pair were purchased 11 months ago and are not worn in winter weather. The fold on the sole that wraps up over the toe of the shoe, has literally pealed away from the shoe on both shoes.

Way too small, unfortunately I was 2 days out of the return window. 2 days , really??? This was my 2nd pair, I went up 1 size from 9.5 to 10.5 and that was too small, I guess I need 11.5 but my regular size is 9.5...wtf...never had sizing so far off. Sure would be nice to have amazon cut me a little slack. Update 2/3/21 - I called support and whadda you know? They are allowing me to return them. Thank you Amazon

At the suggestion of another reviewer, prior to purchase, I ordered these shoes a half size bigger than my normal size 10. This was probably a mistake, as a size 10 would have fit fine. Nevertheless, I have plenty of toe room with these hikers, and the fit was comfortable from the gitgo. Looking forward to long hikes in these Merrells this coming spring.
