Not the best walnuts
Not the best walnuts I have eaten so far, but maybe I fell for their advertising using the word "organic." I usually order the brand Food to Live and just thought I will get more bang for the buck by ordering this brand. But definitely not the same good quality walnuts.

this one batch of walnuts were powdery
this bag of walnuts had lots of powdery walnut dust covering the nuts. the nuts were not as crisp as what this brand usually delivers. i use them for baking so i wont return them, but i am disappointed in this one batch.

Bag Showed Up Rancid 🤮
They showed up and tasted awful. It was apparently a stale batch. Wtfomglol.

From growing walnuts in the past, I know that they grow stale pretty fast after shelling. This considered, the nuts here are definitely in a decent state. (They're not as fresh as right out of the shell from this year's pickings, but you probably won't get that anywhere. I'll probably buy this again.One (small) shortcoming of the 1-large-bag is that you might want to divide it into smaller plastic bags so as to preserve freshness - that is, if you're not using the whole lot, as for a very big party, or several pies, or something.One thing to remember: don't go nuts.
