Ryobi always wins!
Great deal on the Ryobi light. I bought this for my husband for his birthday. He loves it and has already used it multiples times. It is very bright and will easily light up a room. Perfect for projects when you need to cut the power off. Definitely a great purchase.

Must have for any shop or garage, or just for backup emergency lighting at home
Like all Ryobi products in recent years it seems, its very well designed functionally and ergomically. Runs off battery or AC, and flexible adjustment for where to direct light. Attachment for tripod is great idea and I started to use it that way right away. Even though it wasn't Amazon Prime delivery, this small business delievered it just as quickly and shipped well!

It's bright and adaptable, but it really needs some waterproofing
Overall I like this Ryobi panel light. The tripod mount works, though I'd really prefer more metal around it to ensure it doesn't crack in windy conditions. And the two adjustable side panels on the sides of the hinged primary panel make it really great for lighting up a large area. There are two things that prevent it from getting five stars though. First, the battery doesn't lock in tightly like it does on most Ryobi tools. I've tried a 2Ah, 4Ah, and 9Ah battery and all of them wiggle around even after confirming both locking tabs are clicked in place. And second, this really needs some basic waterproofing. I mean, sure, IPX6 might be asking for a lot in a consumer work light, but how about IPX4 at least, so I could not worry about light rain or heavy fog shorting it out. The exposed, upward facing air vents on the panels basically mean you can't take it to the beach, or camping, or use it for outdoor work of any kind unless you're 100% certain there won't be any rain or splashing anywhere near it. It's an expensive light, so it'd really be geat if they spent another dollar or two adding sealed heatsinks and ditching the open air vents.

Battery or cord power!
Works perfect for projects. Can use a battery or plug it into an extension cord. Good for using in tight spaces.

Very powerful and bright
Such an awesome purchase! The only down side is that the battery doesn’t last very long when using the highest light option. Still love it though!
