Yes, without hesitation, yes!!!
Best $200 ever spent! I bought this chair to use while I am recovering from surgery, so thankful I did -- it is perfect for me. Yes, there are a few semi-cons, (I will list them first) but absolutely none that would make me regret this purchase.Semi-cos:(1) I only have the use of one hand right now so getting the foot rest back into the down/closed position is a bit tricky but not so difficult it can't be done.(2) I'm tall, 5'10" and all legs, I wish the extended length was a bit longer so my feet, when reclining mid range, would not exceed the foot rest.(3) The headrest, if just a tad bit higher, would be even more amazing. That's it, three very small cons that can be managed with body adjustments. The pros:(1) The chair came in one box, with 4 pieces. Each piece was enclosed in a dust bag for protection from dust and grime and thus made it very easy to get out of the box. Assembling this chair could not have been easier. I did it myself in less than 5 minutes. No tools required.(2) The leather is Faux -- easy to wipe clean, has more of a real leather matte finish appearance than shiny vinyl. The color runs true to the picture.(3) Extremely comfortable with enough seat width (approx. 20", measured from inside the armrests) for added comfort.(4) The lever to recline is very easy to use and the chair transitions smoothly. It does not lock into position, so it easy to recline into different positions by adjusting your body. Some may not like feature, I do.(5) Price. I was hesitant to purchase this chair based on its low price, thinking it was going to be of poor quality and craftsmanship. It had only 17 reviews, but a 5 star rating, so I put my trust into those who reviewed it. A huge Thanks to all of you!! This chair is more amazing than low price and that alone speaks volumes!!6) Not only would I recommend this to a friend, I would buy it for them too, it's that wonderful.

It's a decent basic chair. Kinda firm.
It is a large chair. And not super soft. I am 5ft4 and when I sit back in it my feet do not touch the floor! Not a fancy chair. Doesn't swivel or have power ports or heat & massage. For a decent price a good basic recliner. It's a bit stiff when you pull the lever it's on the right side. You just have to push on it pretty hard with your legs to close it.My husband's sure that it will loosen up..lolI got the Java. It's a very dark brown in a dim light it looks black. It's comfortable just not soft and squishy.Well time to go enjoy my new chair.Have a nice day! :)

great for the price
This is a nice looking and comfortable enough recliner for the price. I just got it and put it together in less than 10 mins. I was able to put this recliner together by myself. It was not hard at all. Use the floor as your leverage, especially for the two pieces that look like “extra armrest”. It comes in 2 big pieces and then 2 pieces for the back of the chair. I’ve seen someone say they are “extra armrest”. Lmao. They are NOT! It’s for the back of the chair and once you take it out of the box completely it’s self explanatory where they go. I would definitely buy this item again.

Cannot be closed once opened and not very comfortable
I bought this to replace the ancient Salvation Army recliner (purchased for $50!) I have been sleeping in since 2015. I bought the used recliner after my husband was hit head on by a drunk and I needed to sleep next to his hospital bed for nearly a year after he came home. He was up and walking just fine right when my 97 year old mother moved in, so I still slept in the recliner just outside her room. The used recliner (no name, sadly) held up like a champ until a few months ago when the lever stopped working and one of the arms started to fall off.I spent a HUGE amount of time researching/trying out recliners locally and found NOTHING which was even remotely comfy to sleep in. I'm not a small woman and I have a VERY long torso, but these recliners seemed to be designed for REALLY tall men. When reclined, I could not even reach the arm rests!So...I found this online and most people complained that this was "too small" and "not comfy" for a "large person". I thought it sounded perfect.Well, It's still WAY too long in the torso for me, and when fully reclined, it's difficult to reach the armrests. That said, I have added pillows to both sides, a small round tube pillow for my lower back, and a larger pillow for under my knees and calves, and I can sleep on it. Sadly, I wake up every two hours and have to walk around and stretch to get back to sleep for another two hours. There is very little padding in the seat and leg rests, so I added a 3" tempurpedic topper cut down to fit the chair. It makes it bearable to sit in it and sleep for a few hours. What is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE is that even when my husband (not a small guy) stands behind the recliner and holds it, it is IMPOSSIBLE to close the damned thing. The recliner has sat in the fully "up" position since the first day. I tried lying it down on its back on the floor and pounding on it and it still will not close.Bottom line: This is garbage. The only reason I can't send it back is that I have nowhere else to sleep. I have made this barely acceptable because I just can't wait days or weeks to find a replacement. I need a place to sleep. DO NOT BUY THIS!
