Do or do not, there is no try..
This was an awesome build. It being broken up into four stages each with it's own instruction booklet made it easy to keep things organized. The model is massive and quite heavy once fully built but it very stable and secure. I'm currently working on buying enough snowtrooper minifigs to fill all 40 or so seats! No issue with missing pieces myself though Ive heard other people did, but Lego will easily replace any missing pieces. I will admit that this set is super expensive for what you get. But a Star Wars/Lego superfan most likely won't have buyer's remorse.

Massive and Fun Build. Rebel Base Stands No Chance
I have well over 8 UCS lego sets and this is one of my favorites. Picked it up before retiring and very happy i did. The ONLY complaint I have is the repetitiveness of the 4 legs but once complete its an excellent addition to anyones lego collection. The construction and technical aspects of the legs and how you change their position is brilliant and the ability for the shell to be easily removed from the body helps playability. Thing is massive so make sure you have proper shelf space and also make sure to adjust the legs so they are set correctly.**Tip** - if you have to move it long distances, use a small tipped screwdriver or something sticky to remove the security pins from each leg and then you can easily remove each of the legs for transport.

Awesome!!
The size of this thing is enormous! For the time it took for my husband to assemble and how detailed this design is, I would say it’s well worth its cost! My husband would sit down at night and watch tv and assemble, it’s that easy! Highly recommend! And they make light kits for the inside!!

Worst Lego I have ever had
This is the third large Star Wars set I have purchased (Star Destoyer and M Falcon). The first 2 were a pleasure to build. Had a great time with little issues. This thing is a giant pain and constantly falls apart. The underbelly is junk. Luckily it is only the place where you are supposed to lift the piece. So, every time I need to turn it or move it at all, I end up putting a few pieces back on the under belly. The legs are so heavy and has such weak attachment design that I have to be careful not to tip the piece at all when moving it. I accidentally did that when multiple pieces of the belly fell off and 2 of the legs fell apart. I have finally put the legs back together and am about to rejoin them to the body. Hopefully I can keep it all together this time. Very disappointed in Lego. Given the cost, I expect a LOT higher quality. The attached picture is my attempt to reattach the legs. To be fair and open, i am attempting to attach the full legs and not a half leg like the instructions say. But I had the same problem before. The designer(s) have left out the normal reinforcing pieces so the design relies on single rows of connect points or worse, just 2 total points. Just bad design.

Awesome lego set
AT-AT take two. The lego set, while quite expensive, is very impressive. My son loves it. Even the packaging has so much detail on it, such as iconic scenes from Empire Strikes Back. Lego really went all out on this set. It even has a lego tool you build just to assist with putting the parts together, complete with an Empire logo on it. This set really goes all out! Now, this is the second AT-AT I had ordered as I had a really bad experience with the first delivery. After it was delivered with a giant hole in both boxes, indicating there was a high likelihood of bags missing during shipping, I reached out to Amazon, very upset. I needed a replacement with a quick turnaround due to my son's birthday coming up. They came through. They ensured Amazon delivered the package this time and it came right in time with zero issues. I have had an mixed relationship with Amazon in the past, but with this delivery, the importance of the timing and cost, they came through.

Needs space
This is the big one ,fun to build but you have to have a space for it as it is tall ,took me 2 weeks ,just a bag or 2 each night
