This is my second order. I use them in Encore brand outdoor lighting. My landscaper charges me $20/bulb. These fit perfectly and give the same light for $1.25/bulb. Simple to install. Wear a disposable plastic glove so you don't get oil from your hands on the bulb. Eazy Peazey.

After burning my fingers on the halogen bulbs, I replaced them with these LEDs. They are just as bright, use less energy, and do not get hot. The fixture is enclosed and the heat would cause the halogen bulbs to go out. These stay lit. You can see the individual LEDs in them so be careful about decorative fixtures where you care about the look. I needed ones where they were not wider than the G4 base because the globe is friction fit over the base and is only as wide as the bulb. No problem getting the globes on. Make sure that you have a G4 base. Other 2-pin plug in bases are not the same size. They have been running in fixtures that get daily use for about 6 months and have not had any issues.

If you are ok with 2 Watts you’ll be good. My issue is that these bulbs are replacing old halogen bulbs. LED, by design have to be larger. The 3 Watt would be better but is too large to fit into the 21 year old motor-yacht light sockets, so consequently we have to accept and use the weaker 2W power bulbs.

They work well.
