Gets the job done but dissolves quickly when i tried to clean pool edges.

I needed to add CYA to my water asap which dichlor shock has quite a bit of in it. I was able to chlorinate, increase CYA instantly, and drop my high pH all in one! Please test your CYA if you use this product (or any dichlor or trichlor chlorine) or it could get too high which requires at least a half drain and refill. Dissolved quickly. I sprinkled it around the perimeter of my pool and mixed it with a pool brush. The price is decent considering I only needed 1 lb and all the other dichlor shocks came in buckets that start at $30+, which would’ve been a waste. Only use this if you need stabilized chlorine to increase CYA. After it is in the 30-60 ppm range, switch to liquid chlorine or use a saltwater generator!
