Bought to keep my spices fresh & it really is airtight. I can tell because I get the strong aroma of spices when I open it. Not cheap but worth it to save keep buying expensive organic spices ! I do keep the spices in their packets though. Good size to keep a few packets in. Push button for ease of opening & closing. Perfect size for 5 packets/bags of spices. Very easy to open & close. Good quality. Very happy.

Perfect to hold our sugar for tea & coffee. Keeps it sealed and easy to keep clean. Small so goes in cupboard tidied away.

Really good container. Easy to open and close. I would certainly buy more.

Great quality and air tight

Item arrived sooner than expected. It’s just the right size for what I wanted. Handy that the lid can be hung on the side of the container whilst taking something out of it.

This is a solid feeling storage jar. Everything feels well made and like it will last. The handles on the side are quite small and seem to be designed to be gripped in a kind of "thumbs up" position; imagine doing a "thumbs up" gesture with both hands and then lowering your thumb, gripping the handles between your thumb and curled fingers. You could ignore the handles and just grab it with both hands around the main body of the jar but either way, you'll need both hands to lift it especially when full. I did once test out grabbing it with one hand over the top, just to test the seal and it held well (while full of rice) but I wouldn't recommend doing this all the time. The pop-top mechanism feels very solid and the seal seems airtight (I haven't tested it with liquids but I would imagine that wouldn't be a common use for it). You don't need to apply much pressure to close or open the top but it's enough that it would be hard to do by accident. The top has a little rubber stub on the underside that you can use to "hang" the top from the side of the jar while you use it which would be quite useful if you were using it for something like flour or icing sugar while doing a lot of baking as it saves space and you always know where the lid is. I think this would be the situation where these jars would be at their best; if you have a "production line" type of process going on and have several ingredients that you use a lot of. You could have a few of these jars lined up and the wide mouth would give you easy access to the jars and let you reach in and grab what you need (again, I'm thinking of flour or icing sugar for baking/pastry ,etc.). They would be great for normal storage too and I'm actually using this for storing Jasmine Rice and the airtight seal seems to keep it in great condition. Overall I think it's a very good product but they are fairly expensive compared to say Kilner jars. This jar does have a 5l capacity though which isn't that easy to find in other brands. Obviously the easy open/close action of the pop-top on this product compares well to the Kilner style mechanism but I'm not sure that justifies the extra expense so I rated it four stars overall. If they were something like £15-£18 they would be better value.

Great quality, easy to seal/reseal and keeps a good amount of coffee beans in fresh condition for weeks.

Kann nicht schaden so einen großen Vorratsbehälter zu haben.Der hohe Preis relativiert sich im Vergleich zu einer Lock Dose die nur mit Mühe 2 kg fasst. Vorsicht beim Ausspülen.Der Deckel ist zwar nach einer Seite völlig dicht aber die Außenseite mit dem Druckknopf läuft voll Wasser.Muß man nur wissen..

Dank des großen Buttons in der Mitte kann man die Dosen dieser Serie quasi mit der Handfläche öffnen/schließen und der Deckel lässt sich dann leicht abnehmen. Und Verschlossen ist alles dich und halt frisch.

Diese Dosen bestehen aus einem guten Kunststoff, sie schließen luftdicht ab und die gelagerten Produkte sind sicher und hygienisch verpackt. Die Reinigung geht problemlos und schnell.
