Martin Furniture Hartford Library Bookcase, Brown - Fully Assembled

It was delivered put together except the feet. Very heavy. Great quality! Packaged very well! Thinking about getting another one!

Sturdy, soft-close, pretty backsplash, lots of room, fully assembled and well packed.

Not Brown. It’s Black. We kept it because it’s too much trouble to send it back. However, it is nicely built.

The color is not really white, as a few other reviewers mentioned, but more of a pale greenish beige. It looks very nice against my taupe walls with white trim, however. It came packaged very well and took me about an hour to cut up all the cardboard and remove the protective styrofoam. I was glad that I asked them to lay the box on its side as this made the unboxing much easier. It also facilitated attaching the legs with a hex key. My one disappointment is that the shelves are not deep enough to fully enclose some of my books when the bottom doors are closed, as I was hoping to hide them from view. I'll have to store them elsewhere. Also, the proportions of this bookcase make it very unstable unless it is anchored to the wall. It's very attractive though, and looks much nicer than my old orange oak bookcase.

Great bookshelf in the two tone distressed look. Easy assembly just pop on the legs. They can be moved around though they are solid and sturdy.

I wish I know the real lenght of the shelfit's 40" just on top but 36" overall. I expect to fill the corner. I am so disappoint that I paid $900 but not happy
