The media could not be loaded.  I grew up with the original game boy, SNES, megadrive etc and have a bunch of retro consoles and was wanting to get something for the kids to play on that didnt involve them messing with my mint condition items.This is a fab intro to retro gaming for them.It has 500 games although some of them are different versions of similar games so you get the mario bros 1 2 and 3. There's a bunch of games I actually havent played so it's been fun trying new ones out. The games are in a random order - not alphabetised or date order so I recommend taking time to scroll through to find them all.You can connect it to your TV and plug in the controller to play 2 player games.Picture quality / resolution is pretty much set to the level of the games - this actually adds to the fun for me - I like playing games that look like games and not like real life!If playing as a hand held device you can also have the sound on to bring back those childhood memories when games didnt have the latest chart toppers in them and mostly sounded like beep bingly bop lol. The volume has a pretty good range to it as well.Console itself is very light - at first I thought it was missing its battery its that light making it perfect for kids and for travelling. Its also quite small in terms of height and width its smaller than my mobile phone (took a photo next to my firestick remote for size!)Only minor bug bear is that you cant save your progress - so you never get to complete a game which is a shame as everyone knows the later level bosses are the best!For the price and the quality though I really cant complain and would recommend it - would make a great fathers day, mothers day, birthday or xmas giftBattery life is excellent (has a built in battery that charges via usb cable)

I wasn't expecting much for about £20 but I did think that at least it would be playable. They've used a vertical screen and orientated it horizontally, so the viewing angle is unbearable (different for each eye). The scrolling is not smooth and the colours are glaring. I like the style and I thought it would have some potential (seeing as a £6 Pi Zero can do the job) but this is horrendous, I don't understand the positive reviews. I've tried 3 different types of this handheld now and all have varying degrees of horrible screens, horrible buttons and horrible emulation. Stay well clear.

I love this product it’s so easy to use and I have been having lots of fun on it! Takes me right back to my childhood playing all the classic games. It has a good battery life and easy to set up the handheld device and the controller, I have been recommending it to all my friends as these were game scrim their childhood too and they can’t wait to get one. I definitely think it’s good value for money and so fun to play these childhood games in such a easy and portable way!

Excellent value for money and a superb little product! Works so well and the graphics are much better than expected. Well packaged and all the parts easy to use. Great fir kids as you don’t need internet access so safe as well. Would highly recommend...I will be buying another!

Bought this for my Grandson (Age 5) when he comes to visit. Lots of games on it, so hopefully he will like it. For the money, you can not go wrong. Had no problems setting it up and figuring it out.

Would 100% recommend this for old school 8-boy gaming. Really good value for money. I need to buy an adapter to plug into tv but they’re only £9.Can’t go wrong for the price. Literally only criticism is that Tetris is actually Tetris 2 (there is Tetris 1 and 2 on here but they’re both Tetris 2) which is a shame as I’d have liked to have played that again but other than that I have no complaints. Must be good for me to bother to leave a review!

Battery life about 10 days .unfortunately i bought 2 to my niece and nephew. It looks 2 days to learn how to play then surprise surprise one week later both stopped working. You can't imagine the disappointment and sadness both of the kids have felt..iam so regretful buying these games
