Tripwire

I bought this author's other novel,Operation Desert Vengeance, two days ago, finished it, immediately bought this one,an finished it. Been a greater days!In full disclosure,I'm an ex-tanker, M1A1's with the 3rd I'D. So when I tell you this reads like the real deal, I speak with a small modicum of knowledge. This author is good. Read these novels. Enjoy.

This author was the man that lead us into Iraq during Desert Storm. Besides being a great military officer he is also a great author.

Bill Chamberlain's second book is awesome, he has taken his story telling up a notch! A real page turning novel you never want to put it down...This time were in Korea and the story plot just takes your breath away! Excellent Read...another book all infantry officers should read!

An outstanding book, by a true military professional. I've met and know Bill Chamberlain and he continues his service to the country even in retirement. Having served in Korea in the past I can fully picture the terrain. Chamberlain uses his experiance and knowledge to write his stories.I look forward to his next book which is on the Civil War's battle of Stone River.

First few chapters were slow but laid the ground work for the story. Remainder of story was intense and was unable to put it down. Would recommend this book if you are into military what ifs.

I had the honor of serving under Col. Bill Chamberlain's command (1-18 Infantry) during the first Gulf War. He is a true career warrior, a great leader of men, and a fascinating man to spend some time with. His books grab your attention from the first page to the last, I'm looking forward to more!

Tripwire is another great combat story! This story relates to the Korean Peninsula and is an excellent, plausible story. It is filled with action and should be read by all veterans.

I happen to know the author very well. He uses his experience and vast military knowledge to bring the book alive.
