So glad I got this.
I have worked in or managed repair-fab shops all my life and I have done every welding procedure there is except underwater welding. Now bear in mind I have only used high end Miller or Lincoln products, so when I started seeing all the social media hype about inexpensive plasma cutters, well I was skeptical to say the least. After doing some research I opted to buy the YESWELDER 65 Plasma cutter to have in my home garage simply because I hate to pull out the Ox-Acc torches every time I need to cut something. Here are the reasons I chose it. #1, 65 amps of cutting power means it will cut faster and thicker material. #2, non contact cutting (Torch tip does not have to be touching the metal that your cutting). #3, the IPT-40 plasma torch is good quality and when you buy a consumable tip kit they are upgraded to the IPT-60 heavy duty style. #4. it can be used on 110 or 220 volts ( I use 220 because I cut mostly 1/4 to 1/2 steel) Now all that being said is it as good as a $4000 cutter no, but its real good for a under $300 cutter. Now I see some comments about the consumables being pricey but in the grand scheme of thing they are much cheaper than buying oxygen & acetylene. Make sure you order a consumable kit as you will need it. This is a great plasma cutter for any DIY guy-gal, or a seasoned pro on a budget.

Good plasma cutter
Great plasma cutter. Took it out of the box and cut some three-quarter steel to test it. Doesn’t cut clean through, but it will cut it. Cut half inch pretty clean. 3/8 no problem. 1/8 like butter. There’s a little attachment that goes over the nozzle that’s supposed to space the tip a little ways for the metal. For me it just got in the way and I tossed it out. One cutting thinner metal I pretty much just laid a tip on top of the metal. It cuts pretty fast so I just drag it on. I’ve been using this for a month now. I’ll update it as we go. See how long it last. Still working cuts great. I also had bought the 250 pro Welder. It works great also.

Cheap on price, not value.
Great cutter. I use it on my plasma table. Replaced a much more expensive cutter with this one and happy I did so. Expendables are cheap and easy to get. This thing just runs. Happy to have it.

Not Working - JUNK
06/12/25 - Not functional out of box. Internal air supply solenoid is not working at all thus burned the electrode almost immediately. Waiting on consumable tips and have yet to troubleshoot solenoid/wiring. Have read several reviews of loose connections so am hoping it will be an easy fix. I have been a fan of their products however this may be the last if it is going to be a continued headache.Update 06/27/25 - This is the absolute poorest quality machine that I have ever seen. As stated above, for value I have been using YesWelder products of different variations and for the price<quality it works out. But this machine has been absolutely useless. After purchasing new consumables to repair to test the no airflow issues. Took machine apart and found that the mounts for the circuit board weren't even spot welded to the case of the machine which caused the board to be damaged in shipping I am guessing. I repaired several connections on the board. I have made 2 sub par cuts about 36" total length in 3/16 mild steel. The tips took a beating and needed to be changed again. Second round of consumable tips and the threads in the torch head are now trashed. I have used every plasma from cheap harbor freight to Hobart to miller of all sizes for over 20 years. But this has definitely turned me away from purchasing anything besides consumables and gloves from YesWelder going forward. And surprisingly enough now that I finally was able to use it and found these issues im beyond the return/refund period. FML

Awesome machine, awesome customer service.
This thing is awesome at a fraction of the competitors price.Albeit this is my first plasma I’ve had but I’m really impressed. The first one quit on me and I called them.Totally awesome customer service! They had me send a video of what it was doing. They sent me the newer version with the air thing built in and the upgraded display. This upgraded one is awesome.Totally free and didn’t have to send the old one back they told me to keep it.If you’re using a generator to power it take extra care to make sure you don’t run out of gas and you turn the power switch off before you shutdown your generator. Hint hint. You’re not supposed to use a generator with it ( I think it’s supposed to void the warranty) but it works great. My 5500 watt generac generator I can cut through 1/4” easily.I can tell I need a bigger generator because if I turn it up too high it’ll make the generator grunt really hard then pop the breaker, 20amp.If you have a large generator with a 30 amp plug this plasma would cut some serious stuff. One thing I will say, they need to offer a high end retainer for the torch end.If you use it too much between breaks (a lot) the retainer will heat up and electricity will conduct through it shorting it out kind of, this causes poor cutting performance. And you’ll eat through consumables quickly.I try to keep it cool with stopping periodically and dunking the torch in a cold cup of water. If you need a plasma I highly recommend this one!!!

Seems great for the money so far.
Ran it through some 3/8 steel & a welded 3/8 plate right out of the box like butter. I was impressed. We'll see how it holds up to making a plate bumper for my truck.Don't burn your concrete like me....
