to amazon reader reviewers i purchased this arcturus blue buffalo check blanket on 11 april and recieved it on the 23 april 2022 no problems there it is now the 6 of may and i am extremly dissapointed with the quality of this 80/20 wool synthetic mix blanket there are some issues which i would like to elaborate on 1- this blanket has a horrible plasticky chemical smell coming from it i have tried airing it out in the sun but to no avail this smell is like the same smell you get when you smell those cheap plasticy goods/ clothes made in china or india for a blanket claiming to be made from 20% hypoallorgenic fibers i would say thats highly ironic 2- this blanket sheds a lot of wool fluff which i fount to be irritating to my nose and made me sneeze more than a few times since i brought the blanket i suspect the blanket is made with a percentage of recycled wool fibers which can cause such wool fluff shedding i have not tried to wash the blanket yet but i am a little concerned it may shrink when it dries even if i wash it in the bathtub with cool water 3 - this wool blanket has a lot of little white threads running through its weave i pulled a few out and they looked plasticy in origan 4 - when i first looked at the wool blanket i found this largish wool knot in the blanket weave which i did not remove because i did not want to weaken the blankes wool weave 5 - i found many of these off white flakes embedded into the weave of this blanket i can only describe them as plastic material molten into the fabric of the wool blanket i have included images for each of these issues for you reader to study for yourself now for my evaluation of this arcturus wool blanket to be honest i am extremly dissapointed and not at all happy with the wool blanket i recieved sure i got the blue buffalo check because i liked the colour and i chose to buy the blue check because it was advertised as being on special being cheaper than the other colours but that does not mean i should be given a DUD! allright! the quality control was really lacking here as applied to the blanket i recieved i would like to return this blanket and recieve a refund but i cannot because i trusted arcturus to send me a good quality product and upon recieving the wool blanket i threw away the box and packaging my bad readers here so i write this review in order to let other wool blanket shoppers to carefully consider their options and maybee ask more questions regarding the product thanks for reading good luck god bless

You won’t be disappointed in this. It’s quite large and wraps around 2-3 people. Very warm, very soft, but not too thick. Happy with the color. Exactly as described

It is plenty warm. Tested and I couldn't be happier. Good size and quality. Color options were a major plus as well

Good quality and weight. Just what I wanted.
