My mom loves it
This looks exactly the same as the pictures taken by the seller. It comes in a small plastic bag and it was definitely a lot smaller than I expected. I bought this for my mom and I and we connected it to a necklace. It feels well made and I don't think it will turn brown anytime soon. I tried connecting the two pieces together but it was quite a struggle since its fairly small. It definitely does connect and looks much better connected in my opinion but they will easily fall apart.

Manage your expectations - it's supposed to be split
This charm is meant to be split - one half for one person, the other for another so don't expect it to stay connected without being soldered. My son is going to the Navy and purchased my bracelet for Christmas with an anchor charm to represent both the navy and our connection. This two-part charm is on my bracelet with that anchor between the two parts to signify we are separated by the Navy, but as that anchor charm also says, anchored to each other.
