Works very well for my bread, baking

It's just okay
Not what I needed. But does do the job if you want the weight of the already programed foods. The battery ran out very quickly.

Battery was not charged
This did not work like I thought it would and plus my battery was not charged up and it needed a new battery immediately.

lots of weighing options, but best for grams
I did not get this for the calorie count, but for cooking. I bake a lot and prefer to weigh rather than measure with cups. I always have a backup scale on hand in case my main one breaks. This is my backup.I pulled out the battery protectors and it turned on. It automatically tared, but I hit the tare button anyway out of habit. I weighed several things, both in ounces and grams, on my much more expensive scale and this one. This matched the other scale at low weights, but was slightly different at things over a pound. I don't know which scale is correct and the differences were not statistically significant.Switching from ounces to grams on this is as easy as hitting a button on the face. But it seemed like it wound up on kcals and other things I didn't want. My other scale requires turning over to switch, so this is better. It is hard/impossible to read the weight when using a large bowl. The scale is flat, so there is no space between the bowl/cutting board/whatever and the reading. This is a negative for me, but would not be a problem for someone who uses small containers.I don't like that the ounces are truly just ounces. It does not switch to pounds and ounces. So while this read 31.5 ounces, my other scale read the much easier 1 lb 15.8 ounces (as I said they were slightly different). I think this would be a real pain when wanting heavier amounts. We didn't cover counting by 16s when I was in school. I may be able to figure out how many ounces there are in a few pounds, but my recipe calling for 8 pounds of apples would require me pulling out a paper and pencil or my phone to find out how many ounces that is. This is the biggest drawback for me. I use grams the majority of times, but pounds enough that this would make me keep walking if I saw it in the store. The batteries that came with it went to "lo" after two weighings. I was able to get it to read another half dozen things by turning it off for a while, but they definitely need replacing right away. Two 2032s.

Not was I was looking for.
Did not like product not what I was expecting, when setting up device, random numbers appear without me touching it or putting anything on it.

A little confusing but you'll get there
Kind of confusing to work but once you get the hang of it it's easy to figure out from there

So neat!
I have a standard small kitchen scale that I use for measuring sourdough ingredients, but not much else. This one makes me want to weigh everything! It has a list of common foods and will give you the calorie and carb count by weight which is a lot more accurate than fitness pall or standard measuring. If you're on a very specific diet, I can see how that feature would be useful. I don't really need that kind of information personally, but it's a great scale for all purpose use as well. It feels very high quality and so far has been functioning flawlessly. Make sure you give the instructions a read before throwing them out so you have an idea of how to operate it. It's not super intuitive, for me at least.
