What is the size of the mouth in mm? Don't see it anywhere in the description.

I'm not sure about millimeters but I do know that it comes with little funnels. They look like something you would get from a liquor store as a single shot but the mouth is a little bit wider than that. Either way they're easy to pour things into because of the funnels. I hope that helped.

can i put these in the freezer with a small amount of liquid?

My concern would be that since water expands when it freezes, might it crack the bottles? I found some info online: "Q: When water freezes in a container with empty space, does it expand isotropically, or does it move into the free space? "A. The process is definitely not isotropic, as the water does not freeze all at once. When a container of water is immersed in a subfreezing environment temperatures will drop first at the interfaces (container surfaces and exposed water surface). A temperature gradient will develop in accordance with the laws of heat transfer, with the innermost region being warmer than the surface and interface areas. Thus the water will freeze first along those surfaces. The expanding ice will push the remaining water inward and upward as long as the top surface is not constrained, as in a conical container like a tumbler or bucket. If the container is bottle-shaped (i.e. smaller at the top than in the middle) ice that forms early at the top may block upward expansion, thereby causing the walls of the container to be pushed outward or ruptured as the freezing process continues. I have put these bottles in the freezer with whiskey in them (appx 50% alcohol) with no problem. Because I have too much time on my hands, I just froze a couple of bottles about 80% full of water. One had the lid tightly closed and the other lid was left loose. Both appeared fine and fully frozen after about 18 hours in the freezer I tightened the loose lid when I removed them and that caused a small crack on the shoulder of the bottle but I think if I had left it alone it would have been fine. Both bottles are now thawed after sitting on the sink and have no other cracks. Hope that helps.

Leakproof. Adequate for bottles

Does the lid secure tightly or does it keep spinning when you tighten it?

I’ve used these and shipped them all across the states and i’ve yet to have a leak or lid failure. Great product with leak proof lids. One tip incase you’re concerned is to wrap the lid and part of the bottle with Glad “Press’NSeal” for extra protection. Just apply that and twist it around the lid/bottle clockwise.
