I was looking for a weatherproof outdoor timer and I came across this one. It has rained quite a few times since I’ve had this timer and it still works perfectly fine, so it is definitely weatherproof. I really like that it came with a remote so it is easy to turn on and off from the comfort of being inside and not having to go outside in the cold every night. The remote does come with batteries. You have the option to turn it on and off whenever you prefer or you can use the timer option. All you have to do is plug it in, chose what timer option you’d like and then you’re all set. Once it turns dusk outside, the timer automatically turns on, from that point your timer will start. I chose to set mine for 6 hours. It kicks on automatically every night at my preferred timer option which is a really nice feature. Very easy to use, works well, highly recommend!

Instructions could be more complete but figured it out and works well through brick wall

I was initially concerned the remote wouldn't work after readin some reviews where customers said that the remote had to be well-aligned with the sensor on the unit, but i had no problem with it, although the unit is under a window and cannot even be seen looking down out of that window.It's served its purpose. Works great. Reasonably priced.
