The media could not be loaded. This is my 3rd heating pad. Turns out third time's a charm! Both of my other heating pads did not get hot they only got "warm", they were both too soft for their own good that it made them super flimsy and they couldn't even stand up in the back of your chair without flopping over when you stood up or getting lost in the crack, among other concerns.I get the fact that heating pads today are selling the point that they are covered in a "microplush" material, that's fine but it still needs to have a little substance to it so that it can be soft but yet still hold its shape and stay up on the back of your chair when you get up and down.Both of the other ones I returned were textured on one side but the back was a flat material with all the warnings written on the back of the heating pad. And no matter how high-tech they tried to make their controllers look the housing just felt thin & flimsy.This one is perfect in every way so far!Pros:1. Actually gets hot ( has settings that go up to 12)2. Has Auto shut-off ( settings go from 1 hour to 24 hours)3. Soft (yet has some substance to it, and is thicker than the two I returned)4. No writing stamped all over the back of it5. The controller cord is reinforced on both ends where the cord goes into and comes out of the controller ( I had seen pictures of other heating pads where the cord was breaking where it connected to the controller and melted)6. Great color and pattern (not your typical blue - who decided that anyways)7. Large (1 foot wide & 2 feet long)8. Heats up fast!9. If you run into a problem and it's too late to return it to Amazon, it comes with a one-year manufacturer warranty!Cons:NONE YET

Love it. Lasting a year and 2 months and still works great. I bought a second one for my cat lol.

Edited Review: 1-starI loved these heating pads. Until each of them, in turn, completely stopped working despite daily use at the LOWEST setting '1', and being used as directed, daily. I initially ordered two (in different patterns), but the first stopped working within a year ... the seller to their credit replaced it. But then the other failed, AND finally the replacement heating pad failed as well.Despite how well I love their functionality (when working), the 100% failure rate, and the fact that they each failed for no good reason without mishandling, never undergoing a wash since they're above my bedsheet, and the failure of the seller to replace the second failed heating pad, forces me to change this to a 1-star rating. Hopefully someday the manufacturer will figure out the physical engineering cause of failure, but until then (and it ain't happened, yet!) I've gone to a different manufacturer of a similar product with the same timer and heat-level options.Original Review: 5-starJUST AS DESCRIBED, WORKS PERFECTLY, GREAT FEATURES: ADAPTABLE TIMER, ADAPTABLE HEAT RANGEFor years I sought the features this heating pad offers.HEAT: I hated the old heating pads that had only a 3-level heat setting, especially because even the lowest setting was too hot. THIS has a very wide range of heat settings, and the lowest setting is just barely warm (perfect), while the highest is quite hot (great) -- so I can truly set it to a heat that feels best at the moment and for my specific need.TIMER: I hated the old heating pads that either had NO timer and thus present a fire danger when left on indefinitely by accident, or else had a pre-set time setting of 2 hours, which wouldn't last me through a chilly night. THIS has a wide range of timer settings that lets me set it to last through the night, for a couple of hours, half a day, *whatever*.COMFORT: It's quite soft and fuzzy AND washable, so no need for me to purchase or sew a separate cover for the heating pad. Plus, it's a couple of feet wide so it wraps 'round me or 'round an arm or leg as I prefer.And so far, after several weeks of use, it's still working perfectly. If that changes, I'll let y'all know, but so far so good.

Absolutely love this heating pad. I am someone who is either constantly cold or aches, so I use mine almost daily. It is so nice to have the ability to adjust the heat to my liking with ease. It also has a timer that is super convenient. As I mentioned I use it for my aches which are most commonly in my back in different areas, and it helps so much. I have a long torso and it is long enough to cover it all.

I have bought to of these heating pads within 5 months.. they are amazing until they stop working! They last if lucky 2-3 months! And they don’t let you return them

My favorite heating pad is, as far as I know, no longer being manufactured. It lasted me years and was perfect until it stopped working. This heating pad isn't quite as good as that one was, but it's better than every other I've tried besides it. I love how soft it is, and that I can set the timer to however long I want. My biggest complaint is that the timer doesn't seem to be completely accurate. I usually use the 2 hour setting, but it seems to turn off a little bit before 2 hours is up. meanwhile the 3 hour setting seems like it's on quite a bit longer than that. Not a huge deal. It heats evenly although it takes a few minutes to get up to temp. I use setting 4 or 5, haven't tried higher than that. When it was new, it had a bit of a chemical smell, but that went away mostly after a few days, and now it's completely gone. It'll never be the heating pad I had before, but for a purchase I expected to last only a few months before breaking, I'm very satisfied with this one.
