5 stars all around! Nice tension, tight and punchy tone. Don’t think you can just slap this on your 5 string without getting intonation and set up done. It is bigger than the average B string and worth getting set up correctly by a professional. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this as a solution to get a nice hard hitting B string or even down to A if you roll that way.

Not 100% sure if it was the string, but I was using it as the 5th string on a 5 strung bass, and it broke almost immediately . Again, I can't say with confidence it was defective.

So I'm happy found individuals on Amazon. I had just restrung my 6 string bass, then let someone bust my .032. Luckily I was able to find some individual replacements so I got a couple. The string is still groovin, good quality and sounds.
