How long are these on your thighs?

Bought these for my son. He is 6'. They come to about 4" from his knee. They photo is pretty accurate on how they fit. They are on the longer side - which I was looking for.

What is the fabric content?

Body: 84% polyester, 16% spandex. Piecing: 94% polyester 6% spandex.

Are they helpfuly to tightin up

Yeah, most definitely, am wearing them now. They don't fit as tight as you would get from say sporting goods brands such as Bike or Underarmor, but pretty good, and they have a cup pouch.
