Valspar Chalky Clear Sealing Wax

Used over chalk paint on window cornices. Gives a smooth finish and seals the surface. Easy to use, nice results! Highly recommend.

This is my favorite wax sealer. Lowes in my area quit selling it so was happy to find it on Amazon.

Importante aclarar que a diferencia de otras ceras, ésta al ser liquida se aplica con Brocha, se debe dejar secar y en mi caso (dado que estoy en invierno) el periodo de secado puede ser mas lento pero funciona sin problemas. Si se desea pulir, es necesario esperar que se seque completamente, de lo contrario, queda con un aspecto malo. IMPORTANTE: Se se utiliza en una mesa de comedor, considerar que le puede afectar el calor y la humedad, por lo que sugiero utilizar barniz transparente para cuando el mueble tiene un uso intensivo.

This is so easy to apply and leaves such a smooth shiny coat!

First time using wax to complete. It spreads easy, but you have to "wax on - wax off" faster then the instructions day. I was using a paint brush to apply and a lint free cloth to rub in and remove extra. Overall after it dries out looks great. Had the paint turn a little darker then original color

The chalk paint works great, it covers with two coats and goes on with no issues.

This has been a good protective coating product for the furniture I paint. Be careful on leaving any heavy coats of the white on any areas or corners. it will show up when it dries as a thick yellowish clump/drip.

Unfortunately I am disappointed. I bought this for a project but then ended up using a black sealing wax instead so the item was not used. But I kept it knowing I would use it on another project. I just finished painting on the new project and went to apply this clear wax but when I opened it, it was only 1/3 full. I decided at this point I couldn’t do anything about that so I tried to use it on my current project. It did not go on as it should and now I have to start completely over after removing the product. I realize that it is too late to return and request another but I believe this a restocking issue. It was probably returned and put back on the shelf after it had been used. I did notice the can was a little light when I received it but I had never ordered this before and was unsure what I should be expecting.
