A Workhorse - True Quality
Perfect size for smaller ovens or bakes. Doesnāt warp or bend when heated. A true, old fashioned, quality sheet pan. Would buy, again, give as a gift, and write my name on the underside of the one at home.

A useful and versatile pan
I love this pan. I have four of them, and I use one or more every day. They are great for baking, of course, a perfect size. Not big enough to be awkward to handle. The finish is very easy to clean. But aside from being great baking pans, they are useful for collecting ingredients on for making a recipe. I use the pans also for trays. I like that the pans have sides on them, and I can pour batter in for baking a small sheet cake or bar cookies, or I can pour a hot liquid in for quick cooling. The pans are a good weight, well made, and I keep finding more uses for them all the time.I have also bought these pans for gifts.

Nice quality quarter sheet pan for my countertop oven.
Well, it is a quarter sheet pan. It does quarter sheet pan things. Seems to heat well, and pretty evenly. Seems well made. Happy with it. I bought it to use in my Breville Smart Oven Pro countertop oven, and am very pleased with it. It is also a little bit bigger than a Nordicware quarter sheet pan that I have, and I like that aspect a lot. I use silicone baking sheets a lot, and the quarter sheet size I have didn't it that great on the NordicWare. Fits without hanging over or having to be scrunched in on the Vollrath. Overall, I would say the quality of the two are comparable, btw. Probably will pick up a couple more of these soon. I use my countertop over A LOT, so handy to buy a couple or three.

Very important review between Vollrath and Nordic
After months (close to a year) of searching and trialing different baking sheets, I have found the perfect (or two perfect) ones for your consideration. I am hoping this to be a very informative review and I hope you will like it! I hope this is going to be helpful to you. Learn from my experience (and trial and error) so you buy the correct baking sheet the first timeāsave you time, money, and energy. This review is going to focus on two of my favorite brandās QUARTER SHEET BAKING SHEETS. The results may or may not apply to HALF SHEETS or any other sizes. Why? Because a manufacturer may make their products differently for different product lines. Just like Ford may make good truck but not their sedans, or Subaru makes good SUVs but not necessarily pickups. Itās just an analogy! Anyway, Nordic and Vollrath are being compared here. I didnāt get the Chicago Metallic brand⦠maybe next time!!To start ā I baked side-by-side using both brands and here are my findings:They are both āstandard sizedā quarter sheets ā but one is slightly larger than the other. The Vollrath brand is slightly larger (or perhaps Nordic is slightly smaller??). Your āstandard sizeā quarter-sheet baking rack will sit perfectly inside the Vollrath sheet flush and flat. On the other hand, the same rack will not sit flush in Nordic pan. In fact, you will have to very carefully balance the rack on the edge of the Nordic quarter-sheet ⦠and if you but it just a little . .. . slush~ the rack will fall into the pan or fall off entirely.See the attached photos. So, is backing rack an important feature for your particular bake job? If yes, then you will have a hard time using the Nordic brandāeither that or you have to buy purposefully smaller sized baking rack than what is āstandard sized.ā If not, who cares. I do need a baking rack for many of the things I bakeāa rack that falls off easily is not acceptable to me. But who needs a rack for cookies? Wings? You have to think about this aspect for your own purposes.Manufacturing: the Nordic pan was perfect in attention to details. The photo of the back of the quarter-sheet pan shows you how each manufacturer rolled their heavy duty aluminum. Nordic rolled theirs much more perfectly and more detailed. See photo. On the other hand, Vollrath pan was kind of ā¦Meh~ Like as if the manufacturer said āthatās good enough of a roll.ā Does the bad rolling job make the Vollrath pan useless? No. The baking result is not impacted from my test-baking. But thereās something to be said about perfection.True Heavy Weight?: Both brands claim to be āHeavy Duty.ā Check out the photos: Vollrath weighs in at 348 grams while the Nordic weighs in at 460 grams. If you do the math, this means the Nordic quarter sheet is approximately 30% more material! Yes, thereās 30% more aluminum in the Nordic quarter-sheet than the Vollrath product. Thatās ā30% heavierā duty.. I suppose you can put it that way. But the baking result with the Vollrath is not impacted (no warping, food bakes out equally on a side-by-side bake test). So is the extra 30% more material necessary? Thin baking sheet has the problem of bending and warping during baking (this is a known problem). If the product does NOT bend of warp⦠348 gm vs. 460 gm ? Hmm. I dunno. But then again .. . Nordic is heavier weight, great, but it doesnāt accommodate a āstandard sizedā baking rack!!! Which is more important?? Now thatās where you need to decide for yourself. If you bake often foods that require a rack, you absolutely need a smaller rack or use the Vollrath quarter sheet to accommodate standard quarter-sheet racks. The Nordic will not fit those. On the other hand, if your bake often foods that sit directly on the pan and do not need a rack, or only uses the rack sporadically, you might be better off getting the Nordic quarter sheet and enjoy its 30% heavier weight and better machine job / better attention to details. Or get both ā one Vollrath for one job, one Nordic for another job.OR, go find a smaller quarter-sheet rack (say, 1/8ā smaller each side) to accommodate the Nordic quarter-sheet, then you have the best of both worlds. But that means you have to buy āless than standard sizedā baking rack by about 1/8ā smaller each side. Why canāt just āstandard sizedā things work standardly? Why donāt they just work perfectly? That was my frustration with Nordic quarter-sheet this entire time. I love that quarter-sheet but whenever I needed to use a rack, Nordic became useless to me.Thickness: You can see from the photos that the Nordic quarter-sheet is slightly thicker than the Vollrath. This came from being 30% more weight/material. I am not detecting the benefit of this extra thickness. Better heat retention? More anti-warping? More stable? Heavier? Stronger?Other things: Both quarter-sheets are NOT (I repeat, NOT) safe in dishwasher. They both need to be hand washed. They both do NOT come seasoned and they are NOT non-stick. Your best bet is put down a sheet of silicon baking sheet. I personally donāt recommend aluminum foil (but thatās what everyone does). My recommendation against aluminum foil is the excessive intake of aluminum which may be associated with Alzheimerās disease. (This is not a medical preach, please use your own research). I simply recommend you use a silicon baking mat instead of an aluminum foil bottom to avoid getting even more aluminum in your diet. I do NOT recommend baking directly on either Nordic or Vollrath quarter-sheets: food spot will be permanently baked into the pans, black scorch marks and carbon deposits will permanently cook into the aluminum sheets and there is no easy reversal (if at all). I know, itās only $15 a quarter-sheet so itās not too expensive. I happen to like my things to last for years. :-)I hope this has been helpful. Write me comments if you need to ask more questions. I am attaching 8 or 9 photos to help with this review. Thanks!! Happy shopping!!

Use every day
This is such a well made and utilitarian pan. It's sturdy, stable, warp-resistant, and plenty useful in both my full size oven and my Breville Smart Oven, for which it is the perfect size. I use it roast smaller amounts of bacon or vegetables, great for reheating items, as a tray on which to heat ceramic casseroles and ramekins (it even works as a ban marie for those), and to hold prepared items in the refrigerator until ready to cook. Very versatile and easy to clean. I have 2 and neither has warped, even in very high heat. This will discolor and rainbow in the dishwasher, but doesn't affect performance, just appearance. It's one of those basic kitchen tools you'll find yourself using more than you might think. I use mine every single day.

Sturdy and Made in the USA (what else do you need to know?)
Love these quarter sheet pans. Perfect for making a whole baked rotisserie chicken (worth doing at home and so easy!). I got these specifically for making 7-layer Italian cookies which require this size sheet pan to make the three cake layers. At half the price of the higher rated Nordicware pans, I can heartily recommend these pans. I did not purchase the Nordicware pans and do a side by side comparison as a recent reviewer very nicely covered. The rolled edges are perfectly fine. Iām not catching my fingers on rough edges or anything like that. The exterior measurements are 9 1/2 x13ā. I did measure the interior section (flat bottom part of pan) and these measurements are 8 5/8x11 7/8ā.PRO TIP: Not dishwasher safe! Worth the effort to give these little beauties a hand wash and you can expect years of service.

Super High Quality Pan.
Super High Quality Pans. I really love these sheet trays. They seem to be of really good quality. I have used them many times and there has been no issues. They actually fit in my toaster oven too, but I do have a bigger style 8 toaster slice one. They also clean up well and little staining even when cooking directly on them. I have baked many potatoes and oven fries and roasted a ton of vegetables and the pan keeps has had no issues at all. It works well for a cooling rack holder or holding my silicon molds for the fridge too. I use them for lots of thing and will keep using them for other task as well.
