Nate the Great Saves the King of Sweden

It's hard to find good books that are clever, yet relatively easy to read for kids reading at a guided reading level K-L. This series is excellent for children 6-8, either for guided or independent reading. The books are short, but not too short, and there is still picture support, although children will need to read the text to comprehend the story. My six and seven year old grandchildren love these stories. They're humorous, yet smart - there's always a mystery to solve, and you probably won't figure out the outcome till the end.

Jake the Great is a wonderful series for providing pleasure lessons for 6 -8 year old kids via inductive and deductive reasoning. Be sure to shop carefully in the Good Used Section for the "Activities Included" statement at the bottom of the cover. My 7-year old grandson looks forward to the several craft ideas as much as he does each new story.

This series is awesome!! It is captivating and has enhanced my 5 year old grandson's curiosity. It has taught him use his problem solving skills. I have purchased every book in the series.

These books are long enough to stop at a chapter for the next night. 4 yr old loves rto be read to at night before bed

I've not read this Nate the Great book myself but my almost 5 year old nephew has really enjoyed all of them.

我が家の中学二年生の娘の為に購入しました。と言うことは、英語歴１年とちょっとで読み始めた訳ですが、文章は短く簡潔なので、自分で辞書を片手にコツコツ読むにはちょうど良かったようです。本文は４０ページ位ですが、文字が大きく余白もたっぷりあるので読み易いし、自分なりの書き込みも出来ます。ビッグ・ファット・キャットの本を読んだ方なら、AやBや矢印を書き込んだり、蛍光ペンで色分けするのも良いと思います。

My second grader started reading these books in school, they even created a book club to comment them. My son loves them and has asked to get more, he reads them quite fast and once he starts can't stop reading them.The books are quite short, with easy vocabulary.We are from Spain so I recommend them for non-native kids as well
