I have bought so many of these sort of devices (I have Landrovers!) starting at the cheapest up to £1k but finally I found one that does what it says at a great price point. WiFi updates, rechargeable battery for checking codes without being connected, touch screen, intuitive, the list goes on. It clearly finds the fault and allows you to reset the code, including service light, DEF issues etc. (Obviously if you don’t fix your car the fault code pops up again, but it allows for that). Great device.

Very powerful piece of kit for any enthusiast DIYer. It goes further into the ECU than any scanners I have previously used. It even has service features such as being able to cycle the ABS pump for certain cars to aid brake fluid bleeding as an example, or reset tyre pressure monitoring systems or recalibrate sensors. For the money you’re almost at dealership levels of diagnostics and capabilities. If I had to pick up on a slight negative is that the battery to run it “offline” isn’t very big, so if left for long periods you’ll find it’ll run out of power, however, as soon as it’s plugged into a car it’s able to take power from the OBD port and also recharge itself whilst it’s in use so won’t leave you stranded, but boot up time takes about a minute which can feel long when you’re rushing. Overall this is an incredible piece of kits with regular software updates so money very well spent!

This is a must have for anyone with a dpf, I used this to reset the dpf values and the exhaust pressure sensor values. Doing that cleared my check engine and glowplug lights wich then allowed the car to regen wich cleared the dpf light I had code P2463. Top piece of kit. My car is a VW golf mk7 1.6tdi 2013.

Perfect, got me out of a few problems

I bought this OBD2 scanner to help my husband solve some issues with our cars and stop him going slowly mad - we were tired of having to pay dealers silly amounts of money to "plug our car" in - even to reset the service light. We had tried various online forums and bought the hand held fault code readers but couldn't get to the bottom of the issues we were having, so I bought the bullet and purchased this for him. What a time saver this gadget has been. No more messing about with different readers for different cars - this Topdon ArtiDiag600S has them all. We have a few cars in our family ranging in age and this scanner has worked on all of them - including an older VW T4 camper van that we thought only one other piece of software running on a laptop could connect - but no! This Topdon scanner has worked on everything we've plugged it into on our driveway. To say my hubby is happy is an understatement! The ArtiDiag600S has wifi so it can connect to the internet. Why? Well it is super easy to update all the info for the different car manufacturers - which he did when he first booted it up - but once he found a fault code he was able to connect to internet from this Scanner on the driveway and view details about the fault code and possible fixes. Brilliant. It runs on Android and has the Chrome internet browser on it. Clever. The home screen is really easy to understand and navigate to the exact car model we have. No wondering if the fault code reader is understanding the car ECU. On some newer cars the Scanner can identify you exact Make & Model automatically, but for the older ones it was easy for him to find the correct make & model and then read all the systems. This is an amazing device and nicely & solidly made. It has a great solid feel to the hard rubber case and the touch screen makes it easy to select things - there are arrows and buttons too - everything was easy to access even using mechanics gloves! Sometimes spending a little more money on a good device like this is totally worth it!

Why pay for a garage to run a diagnostic test on your car when you can do it yourself and save money? That was my thought when I was quoted a ridiculous amount by my garage, just for them to find out what was wrong with my car. I decided to try use my own diagnostic tool and after trying a few hand held scanners, I decided to purchase the Topdon OBD2 Scanner ArtiDiag600 S and I was not disappointed. The scanner arrived with 95% battery and I used it straight away to finally get a diagnosis. Luckily I was able to fix the problem myself and not relying on my garage, thus saving some money. Even better- the scanner can be used on various makes and models of cars and has now been used by a few family members (giving you the chance to show it off!). The OBD scanner automatically selects the make and model of the vehicle it has been connected to, making the product fool proof! If there are any connection problems, the system is very easy to set up manually. Simply find your make and model of car and let the scanner do its thing! The instruction manual was very clear and concise. Pairing this with the system (which was remarkably easy to navigate) made the product super easy to use and run diagnostic tests in no time at all, with no messing around! Overall, a very quick, easy and smart product that will save you money in the long run!

Very good product although I don’t use it much it has come in very handy for fault finding on mine or family’s cars also it is very easy to use and read.

I paid over £200 for this & it was no different to the cheapo one I bought ages ago. Firstly they want you to register with them & it wont even work unless you log in !!! What £200 isn't enough they want to harvest my data too !!! Come on taking the ..... In terms of its use, it couldn't read the car data, I had to manually type the data in despite it being connected to internet etc. Then after all the faf updates Loading thinking about it, cant read data

Big plus on the touch screen that more expensive ones don't have. Was able to reset my SAS in 3 seconds that the more expensive brand could not do. Very easy to use and the auto vin detection worked that did not work on the more expensive brand. Does what more expensive brands do not. Bought two other brands, one cheaper and one twice the price as this unit, and although these two brands had different names they were both from the same company (red flag) and both made claims such as SAS reset, but neither actually could do it, but was told in a message they "support it". This one did reset the SAS in 3 seconds and I cannot express how nice of a scanner this is. I am more inclined to write reviews that are negative, but had to express how happy I am with this scanner. Easy to update, easy to use, has more functions than more expensive ones, has a TOUCH SCREEN, and cannot beat this unit especially after paying twice as much for a scanner without touch screen that could not reset the SAS, and had to manually put in the vin number each time using buttons to navigate the numbers and letters.

Heutzutage ist die Wartung und Instandhaltung von Fahrzeugen ohne ein Kfz-Diagnosegerät nicht mehr möglich. Sei es von kleinen Arbeiten wie z.B. den Service für den Ölwechsel oder der Inspektion zurückzusetzen, damit die Intervalle für ein langes und gesundes Fahrzeugleben eingehalten werden bis hin zum Lesen von Echtzeitmesswerten/Parametern der verschiedenen Systeme wie z.B. Motormesswerte für eine gezielte Fehlersuche bei aktiven Checklampen und Systemausfällen. Das ist mit diesem Diagnosegerät möglich. Natürlich braucht man auch etwas Fachwissen, um mit den verschiedenen Messwerten etwas anfangen zu können. Aber heyy, das Diagnosegerät kann es 😁 Schnell mal den Fehlerspeicher auslesen und eventuell löschen ist kein Problem. Und wir wissen alle, wie lästig es sein kann, wenn man keinen kurzfristigen Termin in der Werkstatt bekommt und somit auch für ganz kleine Fehler eventuell auf das Fahrzeug verzichten muss, damit keine größeren Folgeschäden entstehen. Allein die Möglichkeit, dass auch Laien mit dem benutzerfreundlichen Tester einfach mal den Fehlerspeicher auslesen und löschen können, ist traumhaft. Natürlich sollte man Fehler in den Fahrzeugen nicht auf die leichte Schulter nehmen und sich immer an Fachmenschen wenden, um eventuelle größere Folgeschäden zu vermeiden. Allerdings hat es mehr Vorteile als Nachteile und man kann viel Geld sparen. Man kann einfach alle Marken damit auslesen (ca. 90 Marken). Von Franzosen wie z.B. Peugeot, Renault,Citroen... Deutsche Marken wie Volkswagen, Audi und der Rest der ganzen VAG Gruppe. BMW, Mercedes... Und vieles mehr.. wie gesagt ca. 90 Marken😲 Sooo eines der Gründe für die Kaufentscheidung ist folgendes gewesen. Und das ist der Knaller.. Es gibt einfach mal ein Lifetime Update Service d.h. der Diagnosetester wird immer auf den aktuellsten Stand gehalten. Und das KOSTENLOS!! Das bedeutet, dass man dieses Diagnosegerät unendlich lange benutzen kann, ohne sich irgendwie nach 2 Jahren neue Updates kostenpflichtig runterladen zu müssen und hunderte von Euros auszugeben, obwohl man vielleicht nur gelegentlich mal den Fehlerspeicher abfragen tut. Naja wie gesagt das ist für ein lebenlang umsonst😄 Das Gerät wird auf zwei Arten aufgeladen. Zum einen mit dem mitgelieferten Usb-c Kabel (Adapter ist nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten) und zum anderen über die Diagnoseschnittstelle am Fahrzeug. Richtig, das Diagnosegerät wird während dem Betrieb geladen, während es nur an der Schnittstelle am Fahrzeug angeschlossen ist. Das ist ein weiterer Pluspunkt. Denn es ist sehr wichtig, dass das Gerät sich während der Diagnose wegen einem leeren Akku nicht ausschaltet😄 Kommen wir zu den Möglichkeiten die Fehlercodes im Fehlerspeicher zu analysieren. Unzwar ist es mit dem Diagnosegerät folgendermaßen möglich.Die Fehlercodes werden direkt an Onkel Google gestellt, wenn man auf den Fehlercode klickt😂 das finde ich echt gut und wundere mich immer weiter, bei den ganzen Funktionen. Dafür muss das Diagnosegerät entweder über Wifi mit dem Internet verbunden sein oder ihr stellt einfach eine Hotspotinternetverbindung über euer Smartphone für das Gerät bereit. Natürlich kann man auch das eigene Smartphone zum googeln benutzen aber das Diagnosegerät kann es😁 ich wills nur erwähnt haben. Denn jeder benutzt Onkel Google und ich finde diese Funktion sehr nützlich🤓 Zusammenfassend kann man sagen, dass das Gerät die wichtigsten Diagnosefunktionen besitzt. Man kann z.B. Messwerte lesen, den Fehlerspeicher auslesen und löschen, die elektrische Bremse vor und zurückstellen für die Reparatur, eine Grundeinstellung der Drosselklappe durchführen, die neue Batterie bei Fahrzeugen mit Start Stop Funktion anpassen/anlernen und vieles mehr.... Das kostenlose Lifetime Update Service darf auf keinen Fall vergessen werden👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Das Gerät ist für den Privatgebrauch mehr als ausreichend und ich finde ein Muss für jeden Autofahrer, der auch mal selbstständig an seinem Auto nötige und mögliche Arbeiten durchführen möchte. Dies sind die wichtigsten zu erwähnenden Punkte von meiner Seite.. Eine kleine Investition und man spart viel Geld. Ein echtes Preis/Leistungs Biest... da kann man nichts falsch machen.
