Shampoo Plus Vitamin C

My dog was diagnosed with Demodex mites and I didn't want to use any chemical products. I have a senior dog that has a weaker immune system and that's how it got out of hands with loosing fur, constant itching and infections. I tried this shampoo and it really worked!! I bathed him 2-3 a week for over a month. He was also taking a natural supplement for mites as well. The mites were under control within a week from using the shampoo and the other supplement and were gone very quickly. Highly recommend this! Make sure you know a 100% though that your pet has mites, biopsy might be required or a swab sample. This product is designed specifically for mites and won't work for other issues.

Immediately helped my Maltese puppy with a hot spot that he kept self traumatizing nightly, even after the vet gave him a cortisone shot and was on antibiotics. I was nervous about using any shampoo because of the rawness of the hot spot but we had to give him a bath as, not only was he smelling of blood from bleeding at the site (which we cleaned daily), he was starting to scratch at other areas, so I started researching. Many, if not all, of the high rating (and with many ratings) shampoos for itchy skin either noted it was not safe to use on raw skin or did not state whether or not it was safe to use on raw skin. I also did not read any reviews that owners had used it on raw skin. Then I came across this shampoo and saw the word "scrapes" which implies it can be used on abrasions. I used this shampoo immediately after receiving it, using a teeny tiny drop mixed with lots of water on the area first to ensure it didn't sting. Not only did it not sting the area, my fur baby, for the first time since the hot spot developed, stopped scratching the area and the area started to heal a day or two following. Additionally, he has not scratch any others areas since (he's been scratching at various areas since we brought him home at 8 weeks old but no more since we started using this shampoo). Lastly, I love the smell of the essential oil that lingers, not strongly, on my baby's fur after his baths. The smell lingers for about a few days. Overall, I am extremely extremely satisfied with this product.

While the product images online present the bottle in a manner that suggests a larger size, it's crucial to note that this is indeed a tiny 6-ounce bottle. The photo does not accurately represent the size perspective, which can be misleading for those expecting a larger quantity. This discrepancy between expectation and reality is significant, especially when considering the price point and planning for regular use. Despite the size issue, the quality of the shampoo is commendable. It's gentle on the skin, doesn't strip the coat of its natural oils, and leaves behind a pleasant, not overpowering scent. For dogs with specific skin conditions or sensitivities, this shampoo could offer a soothing solution. However, the cost-effectiveness is something to consider, given the small volume of the product.

The only disagreement for me is the scent. It doesn’t smell anything like lemon to me. It’s a fruity and sweet smell and strong. It’s very pretty scent if you like it. It’s very noticeable for me because I hold him and he is in my lap constantly. The scratching has subsided after one time use. He isn’t crying because he has injured himself with his toe nails. If the smell was lemon I would of gave 5/5. My apologies to Ovante because the item made it to my home, but I put it away. They sent it perfectly. Thanks. I changed my mind. Doesn’t help with skin mites

We’ve had our puppy that we found on the streets for almost a year with this horrible rash & itching!! We’ve had him to the vet. Tried prescriptions, Benadryl etc! Used this stuff 1 time & cleared him up almost completely & hardly itching at all. We haven’t needed to use it a 2nd time yet & it’s been a week. I was skeptical but had to try something. I’m beyond impressed & so happy the little brat is comfortable now ❤️ Finally 👍🏼

I use this shampoo more than 5 years and is the best for sensitive skin

This is a tiny bottle and so its over priced compared to better brands in the store for twice the volume. Not happy and I should have read the actual small print as I assumed it was thee same size bottle as all the other folliculitis shampoos , my bad but one star for this misrepresentation in advertisement. sneaky selling
