Q: What color is the closest to a purple color ?

Q: Does the tip break off easily?

Nope! It's a very nice creamy but thick pencil. The useable color part is close to an eraser on #2 pencils. I find it smudgeable for a few second at outer corner of eye where used the most. I could never sharpen it. HOWEVER, a few days ago & thinking about it, I've found just a strip of t.paper to wrap the tip I can GENTLY press it to a taper between my fingers! DO NOT TURN IT UP MUCH. I've found this works awesome to taper it for "tight lining" (water line) my upper line - without getting it up on the lid when I get to the inner corner. Primer applied first! I've never had a problem w/ it getting on the lower water line. Then smudge under the lower lash. It's still there the next morning! At 60+ I've found this to be a much quicker method & yah don't have to have a super steady hand either! I got the Navy Blue, Black & Brown (bronzy) as a set when first introduced on QVC or HSN a few years ago. Since I can't review it on Amazon I decided to put this here. I have normal to dry skin. Not sure on the stay power for oily skin. Otherwise I prefer Maybeline's "Skinny" (the Pink one) gel pencil - when I can find it. It's a lot of product compared to many other "cheaper" eye liners.

Q: I can’t figure out how to use the shatpener.

Take off the black end cap & there’s you’re sharpener. Fit the end of the kajal pencil into the sharpener & twist. I keep my pencil in a cool place when it’s warm outside.
