Best Fitness (BFPL10R) Leg Developer and Preacher Curl Attachment, Only Compatible with Best Fitness BFFID10 Weight Bench

I'm an owner of the BFFID10 bench and have been very happy with the quality of Best Fitness products. This is a great attachment for the bench. As advertised, it allows you to do preacher curls, two leg exercises... And also gives you the leverage to do crunches on the bench. It's high quality construction, with only about 15 minutes assembly time (the bench arrived fully assembled). Both the bench and this add-on can fold up easily and fit in my office closet, so they're quite portable. These two products along with some standard weights and dumbells basically allow for a full featured home gym for less than $200 shipped! Thanks Best Fitness!

Great build quality. Feels like a sturdy piece of equipment. Unfortunately it has some design flaws. The way it mounts to the bench causes it to wobble. The directions say it is recommended to utilize the bolt for permanent installment, but the bolt they described to use (and any other bolt provided with the equipment) was too large for the hole. None the less, the hardware it comes with feels solid and the wobble is workable. This has been mentioned in a few reviews, this is not meant for smaller individuals. I am 5'7" and at the lowest adjustment points, it is usable for me. My wife who is 5 foot nothing cannot use it appropriately. But for me, it was a great buy and one of the cheapest additions for a bench that I found. I just hope that they fix the design flaw with the wobble or provide bolts that actually fit as intended.

Works really good I like the preacher curl attachment best I take the leg attachment and hook it to my cable machine now I have a cable leg extension and leg curl

Not comfortable at all

I have belonged to gyms for years. I never thought I could get as good a work out from home without spending a lot of money for the equipment. Now I know differently. The Best Fitness bench and leg attachment or better than I had hoped for. When using the equipment it is solid, I feel very safe and the price is almost too good to believe. That actually was a concern I had. Until I opened the box and saw for myself that it was as good and advertised. Very satisfied, KP

I wouldn't bother with this one unless you are prepared to modify it. Full disclosure I don't have the bench this goes to. I ordered it knowing I would probably have to make modifications to fit my bench. That was the easy part. The problem is the fitment of everything except the bolt holes is loose. The tubes that slide into each other have a lot of play in them. It's almost like it was designed to have a plastic sleeve in there but they left it out. The weight horn is designed for standard steel plates. I used an adapter for Olympic plates. It does ok. I bought this thinking with the original list price it would be decent but as it is even the sale price is a little high.

This product is not designed for sustained use! I was shocked at how poor the quality of this product was, especially considering that Best Fitness is manufactured by the same company as Body Solid. After about 12 weeks of continuous use, the attachment has become almost useless. Several parts of the frame have bent, and it makes the most annoying squeaking noise from the T-bracket. The product does have a warranty, but what good is that if you have to replace the unit every 12 weeks? Dont waste your money. Spend a little extra and get something better.
