These gloves are much more flexible and heat resistant than my previous pair, and work great when working with hot utensils. Worth the price! I wouldn't use them to shred meat, but for everything else, these work great!

I purchased these gloves based on the reviews to use with my Kamado Joe. They performed as expected. I was able to handle very hot items with no problem. But getting them on is another matter. I'm 6'6" with large hands. It was extremely difficult to even get them on. It was like trying to squeeze a 36" waist into size 34" jeans. I can be done, but not easily. And not very comfortable even if it's possible. I'm keeping them for my wife to use in the oven, but just ordered the BlueFire Mitts in XL size. Hopefully, they will fit my hands better.

Great BBQ gloves, they do what they should. They are large, great for me but if you have small hands they would be too big.

WHAT I LIKE:➠ Good grips - Each glove has a series of blue rubber (maybe silicone?) pieces on them that provide a very solid grip of whatever you’re holding. This is particularly useful for things like cleaning the grill with a brush, where you need to apply strong pressure.➠ Good quality - The material itself feels good quality and durable. The workmanship that went into the gloves also seems very good.➠ Comfortable - I’m an adult male, and have a bit larger than average hands (I usually wear L or XL size gloves). These gloves fit me well. They’re perhaps slightly tighter than I’d like, but not uncomfortably so, and not to the point where it significantly restricts movement of my hand. But if you have very large hands, they be a bit of a tight fit. Conversely, if you have particularly small hands, they may be a bit loose.➠ Great dexterity➠ Relatively good breathability➠ Effectively protects your hands from heat - I use these mainly for the BBQ, both while handling food on the grill and while cleaning it after (on high heat). They do a great job keeping my hands from burning while doing this. I also like the fact that they extend quite far down my arm, giving me more protection than a typical oven mitt would.➠ The material used (Kevlar) supposedly also protects from cuts, which is nice to have when using them to work in the kitchen or when preparing things for the BBQWHAT I DON’T LIKE:➠ Some oven mitts I’ve used are made out of a silicone-like material that makes them waterproof and super easy to clean. These grill gloves are not made out of such a material, so if they get wet the water will get soaked up, and if they get dirty (from touching food, for example), it won’t be just a question of quickly wiping them clean (although they are supposedly machine-washable). But I suppose the advantage of this material is that it’s more flexible and affords you more dexterity, and also breathes better.
