I think you need the upgrade to get the six cutters, the basic item at £15 only has one cutter but doesn’t say which

My set came with 6 cutters - I did not have to get an upgrade seperately when I bought in 2020.

Why is the product supplied without a CE Mark, user instructions and just thrown in a plain brown box with no branding?

Didn't notice this about Markings. I agree it would be helpful if it came with some sort of information on how to use settings for blades.

does it cut end grain so you make a squire.

The Saker Chamfer Plane will cut across end grain. However, having said that it is not easy and can take a lot of practice. The blade only needs to be dropped by a fraction of a millimetre on each pass to prevent stops, the blade needs to be very sharp and it takes a lot of practice to keep the plane level and true as on end grain there is not much contact between wood and plane sole. It takes skill to keep the plane from tipping at start and finish of the pass and to prevent tare-out at the end of the pass. I would recommend plenty of scrap wood practice before committing to the final masterpiece.

I feel I have been shortchanged by the advertising video shows only the full set with alternative cutting blades: this is misleading to buyers
