Quality business grade wall or ceiling mount modern access point. The performance seems good in my testings from various devices. I really like that Zyxel does not force some cloud only junk admin approach that can become a subscription or something later. While they have a good cloud portal in both free and paid forms ( I used this for many years with my IT support company) I REALLY like that they allow local or cloud management with solid features and functionality. I personally sold many Zyxel firewalls, switches, and APs for cost constrained clients with good results. Reliability was always excellent and Zyxel had a MUCH lower field failure rate than say Ubitqiti.

Recently started using Zyxel switches for some light duty functions for work - Out of Band management for production networks where paying thousands for more switches doesn't make sense. Based on this usage I thought I'd give Zyxel a try to replace some home equipment I wasn't especially pleased with. Been running these APs for a few weeks now and I'm pretty happy with the results. Even wireless mesh works as I'd like it to. Nebula makes managing the access points very easy. Definitely not as powerful as a Cisco Meraki or Juniper Mist product but for the price point I'm very pleased with the product and the Nebula management tool. I'm considering upgrading my home firewall with a Zyxel too.

Buen AP recomendado.

Range is not that great. not so user-friendly with limited features. did not survive the water damage - I was expecting that it is all weather and would have some resistance to water inlet. within year stopped working.

Smaller footprint than most switches with poe+ and sfp ports.
