This is by far the best portable speaker I’ve ever heard...great bass, solid mids and clean crisp high end make this a true audiophile product. Add to that excellent battery life and the unique B&O app which allows you to tailor the sound to your liking and you have a winner. True, it’s pricey. But in this case, you get what you pay for!

WOW!! This is hands Down the best sounding portable bluetooth speaker I have ever heard. I just recently bought and promptly returned the Sonos Five speaker it did not impressed me. I have owned the jbl extreme for years and this sounds some much fuller and cleaner, the only down side is the battery, it only lasts a few hours. I knew the battery was a weak point when I bought it, just take an extra battery pack with USB with me and I'm set for all day music.*UPDATE*I liked the sound so muck that I bought a second one to pair them in stereo, but I was very disappointed with the pairing process it keeps disconnecting and the app doesn't connect them in stereo, and most important to me was that once paired in stereo it disabled the apps Equalizer, and it takes several tries to get them to pair in stereo plus every time you turn them off you have to pair them again they won't retain the stereo pairing. It was very troublesome to get them to work I returned one of them.

This speaker is worth every penny if not, more! I listen to a wide range of genres, from Hip hop, to Rock, Jazz, Classical even Country. All of em sound spectacular on this lil box. The bass is tight and not overwhelming (JBl Extreme first edition), the instruments from the symbols, to the wind instruments and the S sound on singing voices (tinging treble sound), aren't irritating at all vs other Bluetooth/Wifi portable speakers (Sonos, Jabra). In terms of loudness, this fills the room with just as rich sound as 2 Bose Sounlink Revolve speakers but a bigger box on the B&O produces better bass performance vs 2 Bose Revolves. Its concert like clean performance always make me look forward to coming home from a tiring workday.To me, this speaker takes full advantage of Jazz Music with the wide array of instruments it utilizes making this speaker shine the most. It also throws the sound, making it have the illusion of a multi-speaker system. I love this speaker. I would buy another in a heartbeat.

The speaker is very beautifully crafted and has a clear, balanced sound. The sound remains full even when outdoors and the speaker maintains a reliable connection. The battery life will not last 24 hours under any reasonable condition. I can get about 10 hours out of a 60% volume level. If you plan on going over 70% of its volume capabilities I suggest using an external battery pack. That being said, 50-70% volume levels on this speaker will fill a typical living space easily. Still disappointing that it can't be blasted without the battery draining in 1-2 hours.

Pairing these speakers is the ultimate portable system I can have for my beach festivities. I am a fan for life. My second B&O 15 fail ill after 1 year and 349 days, and B&O replaced immediately with the 17. So I had to get another 17. Not cheap, but the sound is incredible for pure musical enjoyment.

Really disappointed and believe me I bought this really hoping and expecting to be blown away and impress my friends, yes it's a sexy beast but sadly it's just not worth it.. There's also a slight hum/buzz when the unit is off but charging (goes away when turned on even with no music) - defective unit? Anyways most importantly you can totally get better sound out of a Bose Soundlink for less than half the price, I've put them side by side to compare and BO gets a wider and louder sound but it's too heavy in the low-end and just sounds dull and boring. The battery lasts about half the advertised duration at normal volume (which is still reasonable to be honest but would have been nice if they were not pretending it was really 24hr). The app is the poorest piece of software ever written so expect it to take 20 tries to update the software successfully (using Pixel XL). It is also way to heavy to take on even a short hike which was at least partly my intentions. The only good things are it's design and this has the BEST bluetooth range of any device I have every used - it's actually mind blowing - I can go into distant rooms of my house where wifi won't even penetrate and with my phone in my pocket and it won't skip for even a nano-second, that part is truly impressive. I'm tempted to try and return my sadly..

While I have a few B&O products, I am not a blind 'fan-boy' of any one maker. I generally go for B&O and B&W for portable sound as they are very good quality and sound for the price.I am augmenting my Beoplay A2 with this Beolit 17 to cover a few gaps in the A2, namely the battery life and weakness at the high end of the volume scale.The battery life is incredible. I have been using this for dinner and sitting by the bonfire afterwards and it's days before I need to recharge it after going all night.The sound is about as good as it gets, if not better for a portable Bluetooth speaker. This could absolutely replace a stereo system without really any sacrifice.The things that would make this the best of the best is to address the lack of 360 sound. There is nearly nothing from the rear, something the A2 does very well, and at low volume it seems muddled. Running this thing up a bit and pumping out some volume solves both of those issues quite well.Those weaknesses are to be expected after some research and I knew it going in, but I prefer an honest review and while I would buy this again without hesitation I would be remiss in not mentioning those drawbacks or giving it a perfect rating.
