Used on my teenage son! I'm so happy for him too!
Great on my sons young skin! He suffers from acne. If you have (or know someone) who has acne, then you know "suffer" is the right word!Even with insurance, the amount we were spending at the dermatologist was starting to become insane! Two reasons, the cost of copay's and the products that they have you buy. I was worried about using these types products on his skin but decided we needed to try something else. The dermatologist daily use products are very expensive.(I perform facials on clients at home but never on minors)I recommend if using products like this on young skin to always, always do your test patches! Using a q-tip, I put a dot on his upper forehead, high jaw line, chin and near one side of his nose. Nothing really showed up except the skin drying out (which is what you want).I believe we will need to increase strength soon but it really did make a significant difference. Instead of seeing only red inflamed acne, we can actually see his face and his confidence forming!

too mild and gentle for actual results?
I used this several times a week, 5 minutes each time until the bottle ran out. I had no redness, peeling or fading of dark spots. It didn't improve skin texture, blackheads or other skin congestion that I could tell. It didn't make anything worse either. I am not light skinned, but am towards the lighter side of olive complexion. I am 28 years old with little to no wrinkles so I can't speak on the product claims concerning wrinkles. That said, I don't think there should be much concern about this product harming your skin. It certainly tingles in the first few minutes, but it fades rather quickly.I'm still intrigued by this company's product line, so I will be ordering the next level in peel.

Nice Light Peel
I really like this face peel. I have very delicate sensitive skin on my face, so I ordered this 10% Lactic acid peel and it has worked great for me. It is a mild peel, so this is exactly what I was looking for. I have been using this peel about once a week and my face feels smooth and soft. I've noticed some flaking which is good, because I can see that the peel is working. I've even noticed that some of my acne scars have begun to peel as well. I recommend this 10% Lactic acid peel for anyone who has very delicate, sensitive skin....so if you're looking for a mild peel, make sure you order the 10% solution.

Awesome Starter Level-1 Peel for Beginners or/and Sensitive Skin! Our Grade: B+!
Our review (of Dermalure level 1-10% Lactic Acid Peel) in short.Dermalure 5-10% Lactic Acid Peels are awesome!!Most changes in skin related to aging are not noticeable before age 40. As skin ages, it becomes more susceptible to fine lines, discoloration, crepey wrinkles and changes in texture. Lactic Acid peels are considered to be the most gentle form of chemical peel for use on skin. Studies have shown that maturing adult skin over-the-age-of-35 benefits most from use of medical-grade peel and skin care products. *As after age 40 periodic low level chemical exfoliation will be needed to support a quality of cellular-skin rejuvenation that no amount of manual exfoliation with boars-facial-brushes or rotating or natural boars-facial brushes will fully accomplish on their own, - And in the case of skin care, slow and steady wins the race, so very low level lactic acid peels (1% up to 5% dilution) over time will more safely accomplish equal and qualitative effect in the skin's appearance and health than that of a riskier, single medium to high level peel.- For best results it is important to use chemical peels on maturing adult skin only (over age 25) and avoid use on very young children or teenage skin below the age of 21 as it is still developing and changing during pubescence, and over-use of such products on younger skin can cause thinning skin issues and even advance/speed up the appearance of the aging process if used too soon or on skin that is still pubescent. And unless otherwise recommended by a physician to treat an unusual dermatology issue, Chemical Peels are recommended for use on adult skin only with maturing skin issues. For best results, begin use of such products after age 29-30. And before trying any peel at home or in doctor's office, be sure to search on Yelp, Google and RealSelf.com for reviews and images related to permanent scarring from chemical (and laser) peels as the potential risk is that of permanent-damage.Cons1. Only two. The bottle could be a bit larger for the price, and while $10-$15 isn't bad, it doesn't include the cost of the neutralizer, so it can get a bit pricey (some people have said that you can find the larger size concentrate bottles online and dilute them down to the level of peel you need to save money over time).2. They used to have the Dermalure 5% Lactic Acid Peel, but it doesn't seem to be available on Amazon anymore...Pros1. It works over time as described.2. It is a very effective, once-weekly gentle peel that is gentle enough to use up to once every 5 days (diluted) if desired.3. Lactic Acid peels very gently eliminate the upper layers of skin leaving skin softer and more even in both, texture and tone over time.4. Using a low level dilution-strength (3%-5%) lactic acid peel may reduce the number of dermatology treatments over time, thus saving money in the long run.level 1 is the lowest strength, but when using peels at home, to avoid skin damage, it's important to remember that when using a chemical peel you must Always DILUTE and Start at the Lowest (Level 1) Peel (lowest level 1 peels are between 1%-3% dilution) and (slowly) work your way up to each higher level over time. For safety concerns, over time, if a peel stronger than 15% is required, then only allow a medical-dermatologist to apply it as there is a greater burn risk with increase in peel level intensity. For Sensitive Skin Types: Dilute to 5% strength and if you decide to use the ful10% strength, Stay at this level, You will not need to use a different type of OR stronger peel...Anything stronger than a low level lactic acid peel of 3-10% may cause permanent damage for those with very sensitive skin issues ... For best results, use once each month, but do not use more than once weekly. For Best Results, purchase the Peel and Neutralizing Serum that works with it at the same timeFor Normal Skin Issues, For Best Results, purchase the Peel and Neutralizing Serum that works with it at the same time. And it's best to use up the bottle completely before moving on to the next peel strength level (or at least use each level of peel at least 10-times before moving on to the next higher strength (so starting with 5% dilution acticacid peel for 6-weeks or 10-times-use, then move up to 10%-12%-strength peel once weekly for 10-times-use, then move up to 12%-15%-strength lactic acid peel to be used less as it is much stronger-- so about once every two-three weeks for 10-12-weeks (or once every 10 days if your skin can tolerate it). Then if desired (at your own risk), move on to using the 20% strength peel at this point to be used only once quarterly (every 3-4months) or every-2-months or so. but, read and follow the instructions very carefully. Also, watch some of the Youtube.com tutorials for at-home application demonstrations based on whatever peel kit you are using. Peels over 18% strength should never be used more than once per month and then with even less frequency as you increase in strength... Remember, for best results, peels over 15% should only be applied by your dermatologist clinician and never use peels stronger than 20% at home, period.best 'intensive' Medical Grade Peels (20-30%) for fair-to-light skin over 351. Lactic Acid Peel2. Mandelic Peel3. V.I. Peel (cystic acne, uneven skin tone)It is very important to note, that stronger peels carry greater risk of permanent skin damage such as burns or unwanted textural changes.Tip: For ALL Skin Types: 1%-3%-5% LACTIC acid peel strength/s can be used just about anywhere on the body. And up to 10% Lactic Acid can be used on the face. But, for those really rough hard to treat areas (soles of feet, palms of hands), try using slightly stronger 10%-15% up to -20% strength monthly treatments on those areas to smooth out callouses and rough spots only.To dilute the strength of your peel by 50% using glass cups and mixing bowl combine a 50-50 equal parts water + lactic acid peel solution. And to dilute your peel by 75%, to about 25% of the listed strength, combine 3parts water + 1part lactic acid peel solution (say 1/2 cup water + 1/4 cup peel)...Overall this is a very solid product and will make a sound investment for adults over 30 seeking medical-grade dermatological care of skin at home! Our grade: B+; or 4.525-Stars!

Burn my skin four times an left some dark areas on my forehead
I did not overuse this product and I was very gentle with this product. I originally bought this product to remove a burn scar I got on my leg and on my face. This product gave me another four burn scars and it made my forehead darker. This product is not good at all. Customer service refuse to help me with this product.

Incredible product!
This peel DELIVERED! I have acne scarring and fine lines, and I put it on at night, wash it off, and in the morning it literally looks like I have new skin! My acne scars were diminished GREATLY after only one use! It is gentle enough on the skin, and did not irritate my face at all - and I have very sensitive skin! Definitely buy this product, I'm about to repurchase due to the acne scars I've accumulated since I've run out of this. It's a serious miracle, and so easy for at home use. I HIGHLY recommend this product!
