Mr. Heater F236120 MH165FAET 1.5 kW Forced Air Electric Heater

The fan barely worked and the air I could feel (no more than 8 inches from the heater) was only a few degrees warmer than room temperature. Waste of time and money.

This is my fourth heater. I read all the feedback and this is something you need to understand about 1500 watt heaters. they all put out close to 1500 watts. You have to decide what you want to use it for. I bought this for my 6 X 8 ft. green house. The one I bought before, put out a lot of heat, but not enough air volume. As a result it didn't circulate the air good enough. It was very hot at the unit. You couldn't hold your hand in front of the unit. This one however you can hold your hand in front of the unit and it is just warm air, but there is a lot of air flow which is what I need. So far it has been down to 20 degrees outside and the green house is warm. If you were to use this in a sun room or other interior room it will put out very warm air. You have to understand that the air is flowing over the heating coil and the more volume of air that is flowing the less heat you are going to feel coming out of the unit. This heater is quite expensive, but for what I want to use it for it is worth the money. I hear all this criticism about heaters, and it all boils down to what you are going to use it for. I do wish it had a two speed fan. It has a thermostat control, but the fan is either heat or fan. Hope this helps if you are looking for a heater.

This heater does not get hot enough to heat anything more than a small area. Keep in mind when purchasing. It does nothing for my garage.

Blower fan is near useless on this item. Only blows out less than a foot around the heater. Heat doesn't heat up very warm

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I love it especially the thermostat that cools it down when you shut it off. It's cord is heavy duty. Heats a small just fine.

A heater does not get warm not even a little.

We've had 2 of these for going on 6yrs purchased "refurbished" locally and both have thousands of hours on them and still run like the day we got them. Why the vast majority of reviews have a bad experience is imo due to unrelistic expectations. This heater does have a large fan and doesn't blow 300 degree air around, but as a result of this design everything stays nice, cool and consistent another byproduct of this is a very long lived heater. I understand why people would expect more out of it just due to its size and price but you have to remember that it is only 120v and you can only get so much heat from 15amps. It does heat a room very well.

Works good! Wish it put out a little more heat!
